The Vartan Nebula is a location mentioned in Tools of Destruction, A Crack in Time, and All 4 One. It is located in the Polaris Galaxy.
In Tools of Destruction, Emperor Tachyon's Imperial Army had a 4-Star Penal Colony located in the Vartan Nebula. During his cragmite invasion of Meridian City, Igliak, he exiled all insurgents to this colony, and reminded them to notify their cragmite handler if they had dietary requirements.[1]
In A Crack in Time, Pollyx Industries successfully located their one hundredth piece of Zoni technology in the Vartan Nebula.[2] Additionally, in a space radio ad, Mac Mackeroy described the Agorian Battleplex as "the most explosive fight venue this side of the Vartan Nebula".[3] A similar claim appears in the "Overkill" challenge when describing the elite hydra tank fought in the challenge as being "the meanest hydra tank this side of the Vartan Nebula".[4]
In All 4 One, the Polaris Defense Force set up a perimeter outside the Vartan Nebula, requiring Dr. Nefarious and Lawrence to take the Corvus Sector exit until there was a change in patrols.[5]
