Page merging

Just so you know, with regards to merging pages, you can normally just do it yourself. You don't need sysop rights to replace all contents of a page with a redirect. Thanks for your help finding these pages!--Courtney Gears promo render.png Technobliterator TC 16:37, October 5, 2016 (UTC)

Multiplayer UYA weapon info

Singleplayer AND multiplayer? I honestly don't know. Never played it. Would have to play it to figure it out. Will have to if we ever want a proper multiplayer section for each article / the UYA article itself. If worst comes to worst and it's somehow not playable, then YouTube videos will have to do for research. For now I am not really worried about it, current plan is for Techno to finish merging the weapon pages' content and for me to finish converting the infoboxes.

It's been ages since I played SM, is it possible you can add the infoboxes to those games, SAC (which I never did play) included? You played them recently. If you don't know the data to fill it in, I highly recommend GameFAQs' weapon guides. Likely Techno will merge them as well, but feel free to help out with that. Primary objective is just merging the weapon pages and ensuring no info/data is list, actual quality will come later. --Tim H - Talk 16:42, October 9, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, I assume Techno will add the MP info to the article when she edits it, though I'll properly try the MP once I get to replaying UYA. p.s. good work on the SM/SAC infoboxes so far, if you want you can merge the upgrades into it like Techno is doing though. --Tim H - Talk 10:28, October 11, 2016 (UTC)

Done. --Tim H - Talk 11:19, October 17, 2016 (UTC)

Weapon pages

Hey Tumpp! I was just wondering if the SM and SAC weapon pages have all had their infoboxes replaced and are ready for merging? If so, I can do them after Deadlocked, but if not, I'll do Future first. Do you mind checking my rewrites of those pages, though? It's been a long time since I played them, even though I replayed each about five times, and I may misremember some details. Thanks!--Courtney Gears promo render.png Technobliterator TC 00:11, October 18, 2016 (UTC)

Deadlocked weapon locations

Good catch, I'll try and remember when I get to actually rewriting proper mission/challenge pages for Deadlocked. --Tim H - Talk 08:11, October 20, 2016 (UTC)

You should check the new mainpage (and the forum link in the topright of said mainpage). --Tim H - Talk 20:56, October 27, 2016 (UTC)

Moving without leaving a redirect

I think it's a mod-only function, whenever I move a page I have an option to not leave a redirect. Effectively this means deleting the actual old page, hence moderator-function. I guess once I got bureaucrat rights I'll make you a content mod which allows you to do that as well. --Tim H - Talk 16:26, October 28, 2016 (UTC)

Content moderator

Gave you content mod rights so you can delete stuff yourself. As for the Going Mobile enemies, the various security tanks and etc. do need to be redirects if they're actually named enemies (in-game I guess?), if not their info does need to be merged somewhere. --Tim H - Talk 22:04, November 4, 2016 (UTC)

A small game like that wouldn't warrant a guide, so I guess generic names like security tank and security bot will do. Will you merge the other few enemy pages on it too? --Tim H - Talk 10:37, November 5, 2016 (UTC)

My initial thought it was a bad idea to copy wikipedia's war infobox in the first place, plus most of these can be fine without and should be mission pages anyway. But it/might have some use on actual story-related conflict pages. J&D examples would be War for Haven City (though thats a redirect now) and Metal Head Wars. I'll have to bring it up with the rest. --Tim H - Talk 11:35, November 13, 2016 (UTC)

Fongoid characters

I would say these guys have a little more relevance than the ones added so far, though it's been a while since I last played ACIT. Having unnamed characters in a game is such a chore. --Tim H - Talk 15:54, November 20, 2016 (UTC)

Going Mobile series 40

Leaving this here in the hopes that you'll see it somehow. I'm writing new Going Mobile content and am having trouble finding a playable version of the series 40 edition. From what you did so far I gathered you did manage to play it? I'd be happy if you could get back to me and help me figure out how to do so, as KEmulator won't work with the versions I have. --TimTalkpage 20:35, September 7, 2019 (UTC)

Oh turns out I got it to work lol. --TimTalkpage 23:13, September 7, 2019 (UTC)
