Unlock Clank's Memory Banks is a mission in A Crack in Time, taking place in Clank's subconscious. Clank meets a digital simulation of the real Orvus inside his own memory banks, who was placed there to help teach him how to manipulate time.

Walkthrough[]

Orvus will give Clank a Chronoscepter. Follow him and listen to his explanation about Time Bombs, which can be used to slow down anything within their range. Use them to slow the rotating wheels that appear. Note that you cannot have two bombs active at the same time, so first stand on one slowed wheel and jump towards the next and slow it while in mid-air. Use your Heli-Pack boosts to gain additional airtime safely with each jump from wheel to wheel.

On the next platform, you will learn that the Chronoscepter can be used to hit destroyed objects and restore them to their original state, which also grants you bolts. Move to the next platform where Orvus will introduce combat by making you fight several Mini Qwarks. The Chronoscepter has a simple three-hit combo, with the final hit generating a small shockwave. The Qwarks are easy to defeat, even en masse, but can be entirely trivialized with the use of a single Time Bomb.

After their defeat, you can move onto the next and final platform, where the mission ends after a cutscene and you will return to the Great Clock, from where you can continue with "Tour the Great Clock with Sigmund".
