Explore the Spaceport, Buy a Gyro-Cycle, and Travel the Lava Tube Network are missions in Tools of Destruction, taking place at the spaceport and lava refineries on Rykan V. After defeating the local Imperial Army, Ratchet and Clank had to explore the spaceport to find a way to reach the location from the lombax artifact's coordinates.

Within the spaceport, there are a few noteworthy activities to undertake. Nearby, you will find an armor vendor offering the new Helios armor for 100,000 bolts. This advanced armor provides 40% reduction in damage and is worth the investment; players who are struggling with the game should prioritize it over purchasing new weapons. Make your way to the right, where a raritanium chest is hidden next to a vendor selling devices. The vendor offers the newly introduced Mr. Zurkon, a mobile attack support robot. While useful, refrain from purchasing the device, as each unit costs 5,000 bolts, and the Smuggler gives one for free.
Instead, you will want to conserve your bolts to acquire the Gyro-cycle from the Smuggler located on the left side of the spaceport. Engage in conversation with the Smuggler, and if you continue to interact, he will generously provide you with a complimentary Mr. Zurkon. If your funds fall short of the Gyro-cycle's cost after purchasing the armor you can acquire more bolts nearby. Use ledge traversal at the circular building along the cliff-side, situated at the inner edge of the spaceport's split. This route allows you to access the opposite side of the port, where you will confront a handful of tesladrones and a pair of sentries wielding shields. The area harbors several hidden crates and chests, as well as a valuable holo-plan piece.
Once you have completed your exploration, return to the Smuggler and procure the Gyro-cycle. Board the nearby platform to embark on the next mission, "Travel the Lava Tube Network".

Familiarize yourself with the controls of the Gyro-cycle by activating the tri-pads, which open up the path ahead. The speed burst option (
) is not crucial for progression and can be used purely for enjoyment. Utilize the launch pad to enter the hypergate tunnel, where you must deftly evade the spouts of fire (though they cause minimal damage) while collecting scattered raritanium. If you possess the Armor Magnetizer, it becomes challenging to miss any of the minerals. Exercise caution as you traverse the bridge sections, advancing steadily until you reach another hypergate that transports you back to the outside, triggering an immediate cutscene.
Following the events, take the opportunity to explore the small island, where you will discover a hidden gold bolt and a raritanium chest. Subsequently, utilize the teleporter to return to the Aphelion and set course for Sargasso to embark on the mission "Explore Sargasso".
