Extras is a menu option that is used to access various miscellaneous content related to Tools of Destruction. This includes skill points, cheats, concept art, cinematics and skins.
Skill Points[]
The Skill Points menu lists all skill points. Those that have been completed are highlighted, list how many points each is worth and show a description of how to unlock said skill point.

Concept Art[]
A menu that displays concept art made for the game. There are four category packs: Characters, Environments, Weapons and Paintings. Each is unlocked by obtaining skill points.
Cinematics[]
Plays the pre-rendered cutscenes seen throughout the game. Cutscenes are unlocked when they appear and the game progresses.
Additional cinematics are unlocked by obtaining skill points: "2007 E3 Trailer", "2006 GDC Trailer", "How to Draw Ratchet — by Dave Guertin" and "Script to Screen".
"Script to Screen" contains three production cinematics showing the 2D Layout, 3D Layout and Animated versions of the opening cutscene "When Aren't They Heavily Armed?".
Skins[]
Skins for Ratchet are purchased here using the 32 gold bolts that are collected throughout Tools of Destruction. The exception to this is the 'Convict Ratchet' skin which is only available upon entering a cheat code during gameplay.
The inputs for this cheat code were initially found in Secret Agent Clank. Likewise the inputs for a Zoni skin for Clank in Secret Agent Clank (game) are found in Tools of Destruction, during the Clank section inside the IRIS Supercomputer.
Upon inputting the cheat code: 
, the Convict skin is unlocked.
Ratchet's prisoner designation marked on the Convict skin reads as "SZMTRZ", an abbreviation of "Size Matters" and a reference to the Ratchet & Clank title of the same name.
