Slim Cognito's Bolt Extractor is a gadget in Secret Agent Clank. It was created by Slim Cognito, although Ratchet received it prior to meeting him by completing the "Nails for Breakfast" challenge in the Prison Planet's mess hall. Although the device is said to convert prison currency from fallen opponents into their bolt equivalent,[1] enemies are never seen dropping anything.
Regardless, after obtaining it enemies would drop bolts, and most rewards would also frequently consist of bolts from henceforth on. Bolts obtained this way could then be used by Clank in Agency vendors.
