Size Matters vendors

Slim Cognito's mod vendor.

Size Matters features only two vendors; the standard Gadgetron vendor as seen in Up Your Arsenal, and Slim Cognito, who sells weapon modifications. Unlike previous games this time the Gadgetron vendor also sells a gadget and two items, namely the PDA, Box Breaker, and Bolt Grabber. And unlike Up Your Arsenal the PDA's ammo price is only multiplied five times (and it does not sell Shield Charger ammo).

Both vendors only require standard bolts for currency. Unlike previous games all mods (except the Lock On Mod) are unique for each weapon, with their own effect, and are visible on the weapon itself once purchased. Most weapons have at least one to three mods available. Unlike the Gadgetron vendor which are available essentially everywhere, Slim Cognito only appears on Kalidon, Challax, and Quodrona.

In challenge mode Gadgetron vendors start selling the RYNO, as well as Titan upgrades for any upgraded weapons. The ammo price also drastically increases, ranging from five to ten times as expensive. Slim Cognito also expands his stock with new mods, but they do not become available all at once.

Pricing

This table only lists the available weapons and mods, but not the two items and gadgets sold. The Box Breaker and Bolt Grabber become available on the Medical Outpost Omega, for respectively 20,000 and 5,000 bolts. The PDA becomes available in the Technomite City on Challax for 50,000 bolts.

The Mootator instead cannot be bought, but must be won by completing all the Clank Challenges on Dayni Moon.

Size Matters is also the first game that changed the price of ammo in challenge mode.

Purchasing a Titan weapon and the RYNO will unlock the bronze and gold trophies "Bigger and Better than Ever" and "Rip Ya a Better One", respectively.
