Ratchet using the Ship Tether.
The Ship Tether was an unlockable ability given to Aphelion. It was used in space exploration. The Ship Tether worked a lot like the wrench's kinetic tether, and could collect objects scattered around in space. The main purpose of the Ship Tether was to complete side-quests given to Ratchet. Ratchet often used it to either pick up pieces of objects in space or tow ships. It was unlocked after collecting 12 zoni.
While playing, you had to press "square" when near an object to use the tether on it. To confirm that the object was collectible, it had two yellow rings around it.
