Drek, now referred to as just "Sheep", is Chairman Drek's counterpart from Rivet's dimension. He is also named Drek and appears to have also been a prominant leader of the Blarg race before his defeat and transformation into a sheep by Emperor Nefarious.

History[]

Pre-Rift Apart[]

Years prior to Rift Apart, the Nefarious Empire led by its supreme leader Emperor Nefarious came into dispute with the Blarg led by this dimension's counterpart to Chairman Drek. Although the circumstances of this conflict are unknown, it culminated in a war between the Empire and the Blarg. The Empire eventually emerged victorious and the clash ended with the Emperor personally turning Drek's counterpart into a sheep with a Sheepinator. He was then left as a docile, harmless sheep and now spends his time as a regular customer at Zurkie's Gastropub, chewing grass and staring straight ahead seemingly into the void.

Rift Apart[]

Drek at Zurkie's

Clank notices the sheep

Drek is seen in sheep form at Zurkie's, sitting at the pub, he is first noticed by Clank, he lets out a loud belch which disgusts Clank making him look away. Drek is a regular customer at Zurkie's and people have said to hear him mutter frustrated nothings and others say they have never seen him leave his chair. After the Emperor reemerges with the Dimensionator in hand, Drek along with many other Resistance members and allies are taken to Zordoom Prison. Drek shared a cell with Captain Quantum, Phantom, and the Morts until they were all later set free by Rivet.

Characteristics[]

Appearance[]

Having been permanently Sheepinated, Drek appears the same as a standard sheep.

Personality[]

Spending his life as a sheep, Drek appears to have become depressed, spending his days staring blankly and muttering frustrated nothings.

Behind the scenes[]

Drek's counterpart being transformed into a sheep by Emperor Nefarious is an allusion to Qwark's retelling of the original Ratchet & Clank in which Dr. Nefarious did the same to Chairman Drek. Qwark's version of these events however are in-universe fiction and did not actually occur.
