Scuttle crabs[1] are enemies in Size Matters fought in the Jowai Resort, Pokitaru. They are a species of large, blue crabs with a single eye, presumably native to the planet. Ratchet and Clank fought them both during "Fight some robots" alongside old training robots, as well as during "Rescue the girl!" alongside guard torsos, whom also killed the crabs themselves.
Scuttle crabs will either roam around randomly or ambush prey by jumping out of the water surrounding the resort. They act in groups, and rely on close range attacks using their claws. Individually, they are very weak, and can be defeated by a single hit from the OmniWrench, Lacerator, or Acid Bomb Glove. The Lacerator is ideal to use against them to level the weapon up early, though the Acid Bomb Glove can clear out a group of them clustered together.
Upon returning to the planet after completing its mission, it is possible to encounter a giant form of the scuttle crab. Aside from a larger appearance, this enemy can still be sucked in using the Suck Cannon, and has no significant differences aside from appearance.
