Ratchet[]

Ratchet would do anything to protect his galaxy and usually jumps boots-first into danger. His blasters are matched in skill only by his wrench-wrangling and his witticisms. The last Lombax in his universe, Ratchet was a lonely, orphaned mechanic longing to find his lost family when he met his perpetual partner-in crime.

Clank's fateful crash-landing on Veldin led to the first of the duo's many adventures together, travelling to the ends of the universe to protect it from villains including, but not limited to, Dr. Nefarious. Though after spending so much time in retirement, he has begun to wonder- does he still have what it takes to be a hero?

Rivet[]

Underground Resistance fighter, capable mechanic, and secret softie, Rivet is from a universe where she never had a robotic partner and, as a result, Nefarious reigns supreme. Determined to restore peace to her home, Rivet works tirelessly to dismantle the Emperor's dystopia one battle at a time.

While she's known and admired by many around the galaxy for her heroics, she has never managed to win against their evil ruler. But despite the many losses, her spirit's never been broken - she's still convinced that she can win this fight. She has to.

Clank[]

Clank is Ratchet's best friend, co-pilot, and the brains of the operation (though he'd never admit it). After meeting on the planet Veldin, he and Ratchet have gone on countless adventures, saving the universe from the forces of evil. In his free time, Clank has starred in his own holovision show and has recently been researching lost Lombax technology.

Using parts of a broken Dimensionator he collected after their last adventure, he rebuilt it to give Ratchet a chance to find the other Lombaxes. Its destruction has left Clank's body (and the dimensions) severely damaged.

Kit[]

Once a Warbot in the service of Emperor Nefarious, Kit has been living in solitude on Savali, dedicating her life to the peaceful preservation of the Dimensional Archives and its secrets as Gary's apprentice. When the Empire set its sights on the monks and their knowledge of dimensional travel, she reluctantly partnered up with Ratchet and set off to put a stop to the evil forces.

Kit revealed that she is able to transform into a hulking, deadly weapon, something she usually refuses to do in fear of the pain she will cause in her wake. After building trust with Ratchet, Kit has decided to take a leap of faith and go help save the omniverse from destruction.

Captain Qwark[]

Leader of the Q-Force, ex-president, and corporate spokesperson, Captain Copernicus Leslie Qwark has been a galactic hero almost as often as he has been the villain. Recently, he has helped organize Megalopolis' Festival of Heroes, celebrating the galaxy's greatest defenders, Ratchet and Clank! ...and himself, of course.

Captain Quantum[]

The feared captain of the Robot Pirates... who isn't actually a robot. A former member of the Resistance, Carl Lepton Quantum used to work with Rivet and their compatriots to fight back against the Emperor's tyranny, but he always longed for more action. More adventure! More singing!

That's why he devised and impeccable disguise to join the Robot Pirates; sure they were a bit rowdy, but who else was fighting the Empire AND having a good time doing it? And after he got lucky planting a bug on the Emperor's Assistant, he even found himself with a promotion to Captain Quantum! Long may he reign...

Skidd McMarx[]

Celebrity Hoverboard Champion of Blackwater City, and longtime friend of Ratchet and Clank. In recent years, he has spent more time hocking his personal brand of hoverboarding gear through his chain of McMarx Sport Shacks on a planet near you.

Phantom[]

Proud Resistance member, deft hacker, and not-so-secret electronic music aficionado, "Phantom" is a Resistance runner in Nefarious City who is helping spread the message of freedom to the downtrodden and brainwashed.

After helping Ratchet in his quest to find a royal starship, he turned himself in to the authorities to try and tear this whole, rotten world down from the inside.

Rusty Pete[]

The current captain of the Robot Pirates in his dimension. He once battled Ratchet and Clank under the command of Captain Slag. These days, he and his crew have entered an alliance with the Galactic government, promising to only loot people when no one is looking.

Pierre Le Fer[]

First mate of Captain Quantum and the mouthpiece of the Pirates, Pierre fancies himself a debonair swashbuckler with a mysterious past, captivating gaze, and chiselled jawline. A long time friend (and perhaps, more often, enemy) of Rivet, Pierre gleefully stirs up trouble around the galaxy in the name of piracy. His goal is to steal hearts and practically everything else that isn't bolted down.

Dr. Nefarious[]

Loud, scheming, and perpetually angry, Dr. Nefarious has been a thorn in the galaxy's side since his turn to villainy. However, after countless years of failed over-the-top plans and a long, but restless, retirement, this evil robot scientist (and self-proclaimed supervillain) has had ENOUGH. He is done being thwarted by Ratchet and Clank. It is HIS turn to win. When his scheme to get his hands on the Dimensionator works, he realizes that this may finally be the chance to turn things around once and for all! Perhaps there's another dimension where HE can finally reign victorious.

When the Dimensionator explodes at the climax of his evil plot, Dr. Nefarious finds the universe crumbling around him - but that's not important. What IS important, is that he WON! Now he just needs to get those troublesome heroes out of the way and enjoy some comfort and adoration for once.

Emperor Nefarious[]

Emperor Nefarious is the destined ruler of the entire known universe who will never, EVER let you forget that fact. Ruthless, charismatic, and chronically self-absorbed, the Emperor likes to think of himself as a "cool despot". And after so many years of graciously running this thankless dimension, who could blame him? After all, he spoils his loyal citizens with parties (celebrating his greatness), artisan crafts (made in his image), and even original music (sung by him)!

Even though he has crushed all heroes and villains alike that have attempted to oppose him, there are STILL some who resist... most notably the frustratingly persisent rebel Lombax who he has had countless run-ins with. All ending in his success, of course. Recently, he has embarked on a series of missions to wipe out the remaining stragglers who dare resist his rule, leaving only Rivet and Captain Quantum to oppose him. For now, anyway.

Ms. Zurkon[]

A synthenoid war machine turned weapon vendor, Ms. Zurkon has taken to building exciting new tools of destruction which she sells at a reasonable price. Ms. Zurkon brings a folksy flair to weapon vending that is all her own, while still maintaining the product quality and unbeatable price point of her alternate-dimension self. Although she officially is an independent dealer, she is secretly working with the resistance to topple the Nefarious Empire... for a nominal fee.

Glitch[]

A Resistance nano-systems IT bot, upgraded with Electro-Guns and Blitz-Infectors. Originally built for bypassing Nefarious system firewalls and clearing embarrassing search histories, Glitch has discovered insidious biomechanical Zeta Virus infections attacking various systems. An uneasy hero, Glitch does her absolute best to save the universe any way she can, no matter how small.

The Morts[]

Gelatonium Harvesters on the remote world of Sargasso. While they are officially neutral in the galactic conflict, they have taken Rivet in like family, helping hide her from the Emperor's Rebel-hunting Spies and plying her with an unlimited supply of their homemade lemonade.

Trudi[]

A Pterafoid Flyer that was raised by the Morts since she fell out of the nest years ago. Trudi is able to carry three times her weight while airborne, making her perfect for Rivet's scouting missions, transporting mid-sized mining equipment around the swamp, or executing lemonade runs for the Mort's Saturday Night Swamp Socials.

Gary[]

Known to some as Prophet, Gary is a "monk" residing on Savali. A lifelong student of the mysteries of the multiverse, and son to a powerful, omniscient father, Gary is doing his absolute best to live up to not only the expectations of his dad and the universe, but to himself.

Fearing the dimensional cataclysm, he has taken to deep meditation and astral projection in hopes of finding heroes who can help save the crumbling dimensions. If he can't help himself, the least he can do is help others— right? Please say yes.

Zurkon Jr.[]

The MC and mastermind of Zurkie's Slaughterplex. While his father has dedicated his life to peace, Zurkon Jr. delights in carnage and chaos, hosting thrilling deathmatches for the patrons of his family's Gastropub. It's good for a child to have hobbies.

Juice[]

A mysterious biomorph from the depths of Cordelion. With an impenetrable shell that can withstand crushing pressures, it feasts on bio-electricity, which it stores and amplifies with its eight stomachs. When the Emperor discovered it swimming near Kedaro Station, he realized that it could be the perfect battery for his Rubion Forge.

In one dimension, it broke loose and wiped out nearly everyone on the station after being set free by an unidentified utility bot. In another dimension, it was rescued by Ratchet and Kit. Now the two versions of Juice can live freely with each other.

Vullard Junk Traders[]

Galactic junk traders, the Vullards have set up scavenger societies on Torren IV, Lumos, and several other historical trashpiles. Unfortunately, life as meek scavengers has left them at the mercy of the Robot Space Pirates.

The Emperor's Assistant[]

Emperor Nefarious' longtime personal assistant and confidant. For years, she has yearned for a promotion so she TOO can terrorize - er, rule - the universe... but when your boss is the eternal Emperor of all known existence, job vacancies are rare.

He recently offered her an opportunity to branch out as Warden of Zordoom Prison, but the massive prison break and billions of bolts worth of damage on her watch are perhaps something best left off her resume.

Goons-4-Less[]

The recently rebranded Goons-4-Less is a pioneer in affordable bodily harm. Moving their business model to a mobile app, now anyone can take out hits on their adversaries at competitive rates with five star service.

Specializing in crushing, coercing and curling, their extended network of goons for hire means that they can find their target no matter where they flee!

Nefarious Troopers[]

The robotic enforcers of the Nefarious Empire, these uncompromising soldiers come in a variety of shapes and sizes, dedicating their synthetic lives to ferreting out rebels and dissidents. Their only goal is to gleefully spread the Emperor's cold, terrifying love across the universe.

Virus Nest[]

A Zeta Virus nest. A biomechanical infection of unknown origin which has been attacking systems around the galaxy. If left unchecked, this infection will render systems inoperable.

Robot Space Pirates[]

Led by the mysterious Captain Quantum, these buccaneers are a thorn in the Emperor's side, raiding his ships and looting his bases. Unfortunately, they are equal opportunity rogues and have had their fair share of run-ins with the Resistance as well. Booty's booty no matter where you get it.

Goon Rusher[]

It's a civilized galaxy and you can't just go around vaporizing everybody. Sometimes you've gotta use something more subtle like a giant mallet or sword, instead!

Robomutt[]

Robotic canines that were originally created by Drek Industries. The Goons-4-Less often buy them in bulk for hunting down targets. They never use real dogs because, frankly, most of them are cat people.

Zoom Goon[]

These Goon demolitions experts fly through the air like beautiful butterflies carrying incendiary grenade launchers.

Vroom Goon[]

Sometimes, you need a little help tracking down your target. That's where the Vroom Goons come in - expert trackers mounted on Custom Megacorp hoverbikes. Once they pick up your trail, they'll follow you anywhere, anytime, and through any dimension.

Goon Dropship[]

Loud and smelly like the goons packed inside, these G-Series Dropships are equally capable of traveling through space as they are the drive-through at Galaxy Burger. There is room inside for multiple squads of Goons, several complements of RoboMutts, and cupholders for eight.

Undead Goon[]

Undead warriors from a nightmare dimension where this kind of spooky stuff happens all the time. They are happy to be dead and eager to share that joy with anyone they meet.

Nefarious Lasertrooper[]

Elite Nefarious Bots with twin ion-flux lasers, used for cutting down Resistance propaganda AND Resistance members.

Nefarious Slugger[]

Specialized Nefarious Troopers with mega-mass maces attached to each arm. Perfect for smashing spirits and skulls.

Nefarious Peacekeeper[]

This patrol vehicle is outfitted with a pair of Nefarious Troopers so that one can focus on driving, while the other specializes in targeting their neutron field cannons. One head is programmed to follow "bad cop" protocols, while their partner plays the role of "worse cop."

Nefarious Juggernaut[]

Only the top rankng members of the Nefarious Army get to become Juggernauts. With reinforced Raritanium armor and plasmatic crash beams, these bots are not to be taken lightly.

Nefarious Sniperbot[]

Nefarious Troopers mounted on devastating, fusion-drive cannons. They take a few moments to charge up, so if you find yourself being tracked by their advanced sensor beam, you'd better take cover.

Nefarious Blitztrooper[]

Aerial Nefarious Troopers with a pair of quad-blasters - because the Emperor's military-industrial complex is a little out of hand.

Nefarious Dropship[]

NX-Class dropships capable of deploying Nefarious forces behind enemy lines, as well as unleashing devastation with their turbolux cannons. Entirely automated, the ship is piloted by hardwired drone pilot algorithms - because you can't go on coffee breaks when your brain is wired into the dashboard.

Zeta Virus Bug[]

The front lines of the Zeta Virus infection. Glitch can blast them with her Electro Guns.

Zeta Virus Glider[]

An evolved strain of the Zeta Virus. Capable of hovering and ranged attacks.

Zeta Virus Nest[]

An advanced Zeta Virus Pod with tracking organelles. If it targets Glitch, she better take cover.

Pirate Corsair[]

These mateys are equipped with antique pistols, relics of a more elegant time when gentlefolk could fire upon their enemies with style.

Shield Pirate[]

These pirates carry a thick titanium shield that protects them from frontal attacks. Immobilizing them, or attacking from behind will make short work of that. They also carry emotional shields that protect from meaningful relationships, but they are working through that in group therapy.

Marauder[]

These rogues are the muscle of the Robot Space Pirates. With reinforced Raritanium alloy plating, these large lads can punch through the hull of most interstellar freighters and trade ships. Each of them is equipped with a deadly mortar cannon, and a sizzling track list of classic sea shanties.

Cutlassies[]

Why just fire cannon balls, when you can fire tiny, ball-shaped pirates? These whirling dervishes are built from scrap "reclaimed" from raids across the galaxy.

Sandsharks[]

Sandsharks are comprised mostly of teeth and hunger. These pests are an invasive species and have devastated the local ecosystems of Aridia, Savali, and countless other worlds after having stowed aboard trade ships.

Sandshark Nest[]

Strange, writhing biomasses created by Sandsharks to harbor their eggs. If you don't destroy them quickly, you'll be dealing with a near-infinite stream of angry sandsharks.

Horned Toads[]

Carnivorous amphibians found throughout the galaxy. These creatures have sticky tongues, cutaneous spikes, and plenty of aggression. They aren't so bad when deep-fried and served with a spicy aioli, though.

Toxic Crabs[]

With thick shells and claws strong enough to pierce armor, these crabs can be found on various planets across the galaxy, from the lava caves of Blizar Prime, to the icy depths of Cordelion. Don't let them scuttle too close, or you may experience the worst pinch of your (soon-to-be ending) life.

Amoeboids[]

Gelatinous, synthetic lifeforms that breed in dank, dark places. Individuality is not a concept that most amoeboids comprehend, as they are known to split into small groups and reform into a single entity if not destroyed quickly.

Puffoids[]

Hardy, amphibious fish with toxic spikes. They have gills AND lungs, and are able to support life on land and sea. Rumor has it there is a variant that can survive in magma as well. Why does evolution always favor the pests?

Sharkigators[]

Deadly aquatic creatures with a trap-like jaw. If you see them swimming, get out of the water, as they are known to drag swimmers to a watery grave. Attack isn't usually an option.

Savali Spitters[]

Dangerous creatures found on Savali with thick, durable scales and powerful jaws.

Fendersax Wasps[]

Large, invasive bugs with infestations around the galaxy. While they have venomous stingers, their primary method of attack is to vomit highly corrosive acid at their prey. Rumor has it their honey can be quite delicious, though.

Grunthors[]

Primordial beasts found only on Sargasso. These thunderous carnivores have sharp, shovel-like horns, a corrosive bite, and feet designed for dancing all over your grave. They were once considered endangered, but after the Empire cracked down on poaching, the only one in danger is you if you are unlucky enough to stumble across one.

Undead Grunthor[]

Everythng you fear about the Grunthor, only now it is incapable of feeling pain.

Dr. Nefarious' Party Crasher[]

Dr. Nefarious' custom parade infiltrator craft, with a vehicle-grade hologuise projector, guided missiles, and nimblox laser cannons. Perfect for infiltrating the Festival of Heroes. It probably would have been a hit at the Villainy Jamboree in Blackwater City, had that meddling Lombax not dinged it up.

Seekerpede[]

A bio-synthetic search-and-destroy craft in service of the empire. Seekerpedes can be seen patrolling the skies of Nefarious City, hunting for unlicensed air craft, or scanning remote worlds for signs of secret rebel bases.

Imperial Power Suit[]

Designed by the Emperor himself for only the most special of occasions, the Power Suit is designed to be a symbol of his infinite power and undeniable gravitas.

It was built with incredibly durable parts crafted in the Rubion Forge, features solid blizon capacitors, and has a little touch of heart - literally, there is a biomechanical heart powering the whole thing. The eyes comfortably fit two pilots, though the chest can fit enough Troopers to devastate a planet.

Megalopolis Citizen[]

A citizen of the sunny and safe Megalopolis, and a huge fan of Ratchet and Clank, they were one of many who got early bird tickets to the Festival of Heroes live.

Nefarious City Citizen[]

A proud Nefarious Citizen who has committed their entire, never ending life to serving the flawless Emperor Nefarious.

Blizar Miners[]

The hardworking, safety conscious miners of Blizar Prime.

Speetle[]

Large, burrowing insects native to planet Sargasso. They can't fly, but have evolved the ability to run across hazardous liquid surfaces and, if necessary, launch off ramps to glide for a short amount of time. On a planet filled with acid swamps and hungry Grunthors, this is a critical skill.

Plains Beast[]

A large, grazing creature native to Savali. While naturally peaceful, some poachers have been known to aduct and train them as battle mounts.

Antara Swarmer[]

Small vermin that crop up wherever travelers drop food. Perfectly harmless - unless they run across your foot in the middle of the night.

Fish[]

Aquatic residents of Cordelion's oceans. Delicious with tartar sauce.

Sheep[]

The most regular customer at Zurkie's three years running, this sheep has a stool reserved at the Gastropub counter where they spend their days chewing grass and staring straight ahead, seemingly into the void.

Some say they've heard it mutter frustrated nothings, others whisper that they've never seen it leave its chair. But one thing everyone knows for sure - after being Sheepinated by the Emperor all those years ago, Drek has never been the same.

Utility Bot[]

Specialized helper bots produced for a variety of tasks, ranging from navigation to data collection.

CraiggerBear[]

Mysterious plush bears that seem to show up on every world. They are said to carry the optimism, kindness, and creativity of a fallen hero missed by his comrades.

Mission descriptions and hints[]

(Mission descriptions and hints are accessed on PS5 by using the PS button to go to the control center. The card of your current game activity appears on the left. When Game Help is available, you'll see Hints inside on the card. Game hints only appear if the user has a PS Plus subscription and an online connection.)

Megalopolis, Planet Corson V 1[]

Navigate the Parade Route[]

Grab Your Wrench[]

TRAVEL TO THE FRONT OF THE PARADE
Follow the path along the parade route, but be prepared-it's not as easy as it looks.

Travel to the Front of the Parade[]

RIDE THE PEDESTAL
With your handy wrench in tow, ride the pedestal and wait until you reach the first parade float.

SWING YOUR WRENCH
The wrench is your go-to melee weapon for breaking boxes and enemy faces. You can swing it up to three times for a three-hit combo. In battle, it's best used when enemies get too close for comfort. However, it's most effective against small enemies, capable of defeating them in a single hit.

SMASH THE RED BUTTON
Wrench Slam the red button at the end of the parade float to progress further. To perform a Wrench Slam, jump in the air with the cross button and press the square button.

BRING DOWN THE FESTIVE BARRICADE
By holding L2 and pressing the square button, you can throw your wrench at the festive barricade to break it down and clear the path forward.

Shoot the Blarg Ships[]

SHOOT THE BLARG SHIPS
Grab the Burst Pistol and practice by shooting the Blarg Ship balloons.

Defeat the Goons-4-Less![]

DEFEAT THE GOONS-4-LESS!
Despite how they look, the Goons-4-Less Infantry are pretty weak. Dodge their gunshots by strafing left or right and keep firing at them with your Burst Pistol. If you take damage, break the health crates nearby to patch your wounds.

LEARN TO GRIND, DUDE
After the Goon Dropship blasts the platform you're standing on, you'll land on your first grind rail. Practice hopping over the incoming balloon obstacles when prompted. Don't worry; they won't hurt you if you run into them!

OVER THE SHOULDER AIM
When you need to aim more precisely at your targets, you'll want to do so over your shoulder. Hold L2 to zoom in and start firing at the Goon hanging on the wall ahead. Take cover behind the nearby column if necessary.

CATCH A RIDE ON THE PLATFORM
You can always rely on Skidd McMarx to lend a hand! Press and hold L1 to latch to the grapple point on the platform.

JUMP, JUMP, JUMP
Hop from one parade balloon to the next to progress! Make sure to transfer from one balloon to the next at the apex of your jump.

DEFEAT THE ROBOMUTTS
A pack of Robomutts will start rushing you. Luckily, they're super weak, only taking a single hit from your Wrench or Burst Pistol to defeat. To quickly thin their numbers, consider grouping them around the explosive barrel to your left and shooting it when they're near.

SHOOT THE EXPLOSIVE BARRELS
Speaking of explosive barrels, the Goon standing on the pirate ship ahead is surrounded by them. You know what to do.

WALK THE PLANK, MATEY
Jump off the plank and hold the cross button to glide. Push forward on the left analog stick to move ahead until you're below the next parade float.

STRAFE TO DODGE SHOTS AND ATTACKS
It's essential to keep moving in a firefight. Always move in a strafing pattern, either left or right, and keep shooting! Also, don't forget to jump if you can't readily dodge an attack from movement alone. Take cover when necessary.

DON'T LET GOON RUSHERS GET CLOSE
After eliminating the Goon Infantry, you'll encounter Goon Rushers, who prioritize getting up close and hitting you with their melee weapons. Maintain a safe distance from them and keep firing, and if push comes to shove, wack them with your wrench.

Take Down the Goon Dropship[]

DROPSHIPS
Stay on the move while firing to keep the dropship from getting hits on you.

HIDE FROM DANGER
When overwhelmed, get behind cover to avoid fire and plan your next attack.

STAYING ALIVE
Remember to use health and ammo crates around the environment to stay in the fight.

Go to the Lead Float[]

GO TO THE LEAD FLOAT
Now that the drop ship is gone, head to the lead float.

Pursue Dr. Nefarious[]

PURSUE DR. NEFARIOUS
Grind on the cables to Dr. Nefarious. Jump to transfer cables and avoid hazards. Smash the red button to stop Dr. Nefarious.

Buy Weapon from Mrs. Zurkon[]

BUY A WEAPON FROM MRS. ZURKON
Choose between some additional weapons. Watch the preview videos to compare weapons.

Find Dr. Nefarious[]

KNOW YOUR WEAPON WHEEL
Now that you have two weapons in your arsenal, you can switch bewteen them. To do so, hold the triangle button to bring up the weapon wheel, then highlight the weapon you want with the left stick. Alternatively, you can press the triangle button mid-combat to switch back to your last used weapon.

BREAK EVERY BOX
Always break open every box you see to collect the bolts they contain. You'll need as many as you can get to purchase all the fanciest, cutting-edge weapons from Mrs. Zurkon.

RIFTS 101
Press L1 to pull yourself toward the rift across the bridge. Always look out for rifts in the world; they often lead to important places and even help you get out of a sticky situation during firefights.

RARITANIUM
After tethering to the rift on the balcony, turn around and glide to the platform to the right. Jump atop the boxes there, and you'll spot a rift on a ledge-tether over to find some Raritanium, a resource used to upgrade your weapons. Mrs. Zurkon will touch on that later!

HOW TO QUICK SWITCH
You can quickly switch between weapons using the directional pad instead of relying on bringing up the weapon wheel every time. If you want to change a weapon's assignment on the directional pad, pull up the weapon wheel, highlight the weapon, and then press the direction you want it placed.

DIVERSIFY YOUR WEAPON USAGE
With three guns in your arsenal now, it's key to diversify your weapon usage to best leverage their strengths. Build up a habit of this, as the more you use a weapon, the more experience it earns, eventually leveling it up into an even more powerful version of itself.

USE THE RIFTS
Rifts can help get you out of danger in a firefight or flank enemies. Don't hesitate to use them!

Defeat Dr. Nefarious[]

DR. NEFARIOUS
Double jump over lasers to avoid being hit. Reposition when targeted with missiles and continue firing.

UNWANTED GUESTS
Some unwanted guests will occasionally enter through rifts to stir up trouble. Use your wrench to take them out quickly. If they start to surround you, fall back on your weapons to thin their numbers.

Nefarious City, Planet Corson V[]

Find Clank[]

Lost in a mysterious new dimension, Ratchet has to find Clank.

Search for Clank[]

SEARCH FOR CLANK
Run up the path ahead until you find an elevator; take it topside. Turn the Boltcrank to open the door blocking the way forward.

HEAD TO THE BAZAAR
Head to the Bazaar and see if anyone has any information about your missing pal.

Find Club Nefarious[]

FIND CLUB NEFARIOUS
From Ms. Zurkon, head left to find a path leading to Club Nefarious. If you get lost, click R3 to bring up a waypoint icon that'll show you where to go.

BUY MR. FUNGI
Before heading to Club Nefarious, you should purchase Mr. Fungi from Ms. Zurkon. It can offer supporting fire while redirecting enemy attention in the middle of a firefight. You'll always want to throw it out at the start of every battle to ensure you've got a friend on the field.

EXPLORE FOR COLLECTIBLES
If you don't have enough bolts to buy Mr. Fungi, then try exploring the area and completing optional objectives.

Find the Phantom[]

FIND THE PHANTOM
Explore the bar to find the Phantom.

Follow the Phantom[]

FOLLOW THE PHANTOM
Give chase to the Phantom! You'll encounter several Nefarious Troopers on the way, so be ready! Though, don't forget to grab the Raritanium hidden along the path.

NEFARIOUS LASERTROOPERS
Nefarious Lasertroopers are aptly named. These pesky foes shoot lasers at you in vertical patterns. It's easy enough to dodge their swooping lasers by strafing and hopping over them before they make contact. But be careful; Nefarious Troopers can strafe themselves!

NEFARIOUS SLUGGERS
Nefarious Sluggers are a vicious lot. Like Goon Rushers, they'll try to get in close to hit you. Use The Enforcer or Shatterbomb to make sure they don't get the chance.

PHANTOM DASH
Press the circle button to Phantom Dash through security gates. You can also use it to extend your jumps across chasms.

WALL RUNNING
Follow the Phantom by moving across the wall run panels. To do so, jump onto the panel and hop off as soon as you reach its end.

Meet Phantom on the Rooftop[]

NAVIGATE THE ROOFTOPS
Make your way across the Nefarious City rooftops, applying the skills you've learned platforming and wall running. Try timing your jumps as precisely as possible to ensure you cross each gap safely.

MEET ON THE ROOFTOP
Be sure to stop and upgrade your weapons on the way up.

NEGATRON COLLIDER
If you've got enough bolts, it's a good idea to purchase the Negatron Collider. It deals significant damage, being especially useful against large groups and bosses. Just make sure it's charged up fully before firing.

Protect the Phantom[]

PROTECT THE PHANTOM
It's time to mow down Nefarious Troopers on a rooftop spa! Stay on the move and stick to the outskirts to avoid falling into the boiling pink spa water. Nefarious Lasertroopers will occasionally camp on the second floor, so be sure to Rift Tether over and blast them.

USE THE RIFTS
If you're having trouble surviving this firefight, try staying on the move and using the rifts around the map whenever enemies get too overwhelming. You always want to be a moving target, not a stationary one!

Travel to the Nefarious Statue[]

TRAVEL TO THE NEFARIOUS STATUE
Turn the Boltcrank, ride the grind rail, run on the walls, and when you arrive at the base of the statue an epic battle awaits.

CROSS THE WALL RUN PANEL
Once you've returned to the Bazaar, navigate to the base of the Nefarious statue. Cross the Wall Run panels leading over, and get ready to fight a formidable foe!

Locate the Resistance Spybot before the Empire[]

HEAD TO THE TRAIN STATION
Head up to the train station via the Mag Boot ramp found around the corner to the right of Ms. Zurkon. You'll find Nefarious Lasertroopers guarding the area. Defeat them and tether the nearby rift to proceed forward.

CROSSING BOXES PART 1
When you get to the sorting room, jump onto one of the large boxes moving on the conveyor belt. Remain on the large box while occasionally hopping to surrounding platforms to avoid obstacles. Hop onto the balcony at the end of the path, and wall jump upward to proceed forward.

CROSSING BOXES PART 2
Hop on one of the large boxes moving on the conveyor belt, and then jump over to the one across the way. As you progress, you'll notice a Wall Run panel; if you have the Phantom Glove, you can get the Raritanium on the other side. Otherwise, keep moving up to the conveyor belts leading to a balcony.

SECURE THE SPYBOT
Fight through the enemy Troopers in the Nefarious Business Factory to retrieve the Spybot. The main combat area is rather narrow with a few sections of cover, but you can also move through the parked trains on the side to evade gunfire and flank the opposition.

Catch a Speetle[]

Catch a Speetle to Traverse the Acid Swamps

BUY THE TOPIARY SPRINKLER
One of the most useful support weapons you'll buy from Ms. Zurkon, the Topiary Sprinkler has the power to stop enemies in their tracks, giving you time to retaliate while offering some breathing room should you feel overwhelmed. It's particularly effective when used alongside Mr. Fungi.

NEEDLE WASPS
As you attempt to chase down a Speetle, you'll encounter Needle Wasps. Instead of battling them on the islands surrounded by swamp acid, take the fight over to the Gelatonium platform. Use the cover there and retaliate in full force with the Negatron Collider or the Burst Pistol.

CATCH A SPEETLE
Follow the Speetles through the rift. Press L1 to open the rift leading into the pocket dimension.

SPEETLE NEST
Smack the Speetle nest with your hammer to get one to pop out.

Follow Maynard the Bot Back to the Morts

FOLLOW THAT BOT
Follow the Mort's helperbot to the Gelatonium Factory.

Rescue the Morts from the Goons[]

ZOOM GOONS
Zoom Goons are the Goons-4-Less' flying units. They'll frequently fire bombs, marked by a red circle on the ground; stay out of these areas to avoid damage. The Burst Pistol or the Negatron Collider are your best bets against them.

WATCH OUT FOR RUSHERS
While the Vroom Goons will take up your attention, be ready for the waves of Robomutts and Goon Rushers coming your way. Have your hammer and The Enforcer prepared to deal with any that get too close.

Head to the Hideout[]

GRUNTHOR CHARGE
If a Grunthor scrapes its feet, watch out! It's about to charge. Run or Phantom Dash sideways to avoid being trampled.

BOULDER TOSS
When the Grunthor digs its horns into the ground, it's about to hurl a boulder your way. Run or Phantom Dash to avoid damage.

STOMP AND TAIL SWIPE
Beware standing under the Grunthor; it will begin to stomp. Similarly, standing too close to the tail may result in a Tail Swipe–avoid this by jumping.

CLEAR THE CRANK BUILDING
Use the Rift Tether to get over to the building to lower the bridge. Prepare yourself because when you arrive, there will be some slight resistance.

KEEP MOVING AND USE THE GRAPPLE POINTS
Goons will be coming from all sides during the fight on the Gelatonium platform, so try to keep moving. Take advantage of the two grapple points found on either side of the platform to swing across the area when you need to escape or hop in for an ambush.

USE THE HAMMERCRANK
Use the hammercrank to lower the bridge.

SEEKERPEDE
Use ranged weapons to damage the Seekerpede anywhere on its head or body. Remember to search the area for ammo and health crates.

SWIPE ATTACK
Keep an eye on the Seekerpede's mandibles! When they light up, the Seekerpede will use its Swipe Attack. Double jump to avoid taking damage.

BEAM ATTACK
When the cannon at the front of the Seekerpede begins to charge, run or Phantom Dash sideways to avoid the dangerous Beam Attack.

MORTAR ATTACK
When the Seekerpede lowers its head it will fire its mortars. Keep moving and avoid targets on the ground.

TAIL SCRAPE
When the Seekerpede floats upward it will charge over the area, scraping its tail along the ground. Run or Phantom Dash to avoid the blades.

OLD TRICKS
Keep an eye on the mandibles to avoid the Seekerpede's Swipe attack, and on the cannon charge to avoid its dangerous Beam.

FREE THE MONKS AT THE BADLANDS TEMPLE
The monks are in a central area surrounded by platforms. Tether to the top of these platforms to take cover from the Nefarious Troopers and blast them from there. But keep moving from one platform to the next if they start to climb up the one you're on or if you accidentally break your cover.

SNIPER BOTS
Nefarious Sniper Bots will show up later on in the fight. These long-range Nefarious units can fire powerful lasers at you. Use the cover atop the platforms to avoid damage, wait for them to shoot, and return fire. If all usable cover breaks, jump down and hide behind the base of the columns.

USE THE BADLANDS TEMPLE CONSOLE
Use the Temple Console to free your impressively relaxed buddies!

FREE THE MONKS AT THE FOREST TEMPLE
Use the access console to start a sequence to free the captive monks, but be prepared for a fight.

Defend KT-7461[]

STAY CLOSE TO KT-7461
As KT-7461 works to open the barrier keeping monks imprisoned, you'll want to stay close to her. Focus your fire on incoming enemies ahead of you, and don't let her take too much damage.

USE SUPPORT WEAPONS
An excellent way to keep enemy attention off KT-7461 is to throw out support weapons, like Mr. Fungi and the Topiary Sprinkler, to temporarily distract or incapacitate them.

FOCUS FIRE ON THE DROPSHIP
Late into the fight, a Nefarious Dropship will appear to cause all kinds of trouble. Focus on it with all the heavy weaponry at your disposal; long-range projectile weapons like the Burst Pistol and Lightning Rod work too. Keep strafing, and be sure to take cover when needed.

Free the Monks at the Mountain/Great Rock Temple[]

MEET THE MONKS AT THE MOUNTAIN TEMPLE
Head toward the green beacon up in the mountains to find the monks.

Ascend the Mountain[]

ASCEND THE MOUNTAIN

GO SPEED RATCHET
When you reach the final stretch, you'll want to prioritize going fast, but be careful! You want to give yourself ample opportunity to make slight turns to hop over tricky obstacles.

STAY FOCUSED
After the grind rails, there's a tight straightaway with several obstacles, including Wall Run panels and rocks. It culminates with a path that leads right into a Wall Panel that curves toward a speed ramp. Keep your wits about you and focus on each moment and obstacle as they come. Stay focused!

TURRETS
The infections have evolved–be wary of turrets that will fire at Glitch. Use the environment for cover to avoid damage.

ENEMY SHIELDS
Enemies inside shields are immune to all forms of damage. Follow the power cables to the energy pad powering them and step onto it to deactivate the shield. Some may be powered by more than one.

Return to Monktown[]

BOOST LIKE NO TOMORROW
Speak to Gary and boost through the portal with your Hoverboots. Cross over each booster panel to gain enough speed to take the ramp over to the Archives. If you don't pick up enough speed after going off the ramp, you can tether to the rift to get to the platform safely.

Access the Vault of Knowledge in the Archives[]

STAY ON THE MOVE
There's no traditional cover in this area, so you'll want to move between the outer perimeter of the map and the center, utilizing the architecture as cover from incoming fire.

GET TO THE ROOF
Once all the enemies have been defeated, turn the Boltcrank to power the generator. Hop on the bounce platform to get to the roof.

TWO JUGGERNAUTS
Focus on one Juggernaut at a time. Use support weapons such as Mr. Fungi or the Topiary Sprinkler to aid you in the fight. When in danger, use your Hoverboots for a quick escape and the central shield as cover!

REINFORCEMENTS
When reinforcements begin to flood the combat area, defeat as many as you can quickly in order to prevent being overwhelmed.

PRESSURE LOCKS
Other Lorbs are locked behind barriers that can only be opened by activating three pressure locks within a limited amount of time. Follow the wire leading from one pressure lock to the next and go fast. Time is of the essence!

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX (OR USE BRUTE FORCE)
One particularly vague Lorb is locked behind a puzzle that requires you to shoot four beacons to make it appear. Others require you to defeat a room full of enemies or give chase until you're close enough to obtain it.

VROOM GOONS
Vroom Goons are the Goons-4-Less' heavy flying units. Their mobility and resilience make them irritating to fight. As they fly above you, they'll fire electric rods, which can be dodged by strafing, jumping, or Phantom Dashing. The Negatron Collider and other long-range guns are your best bet.

USE THE HAMMERCRANK
After following J.I.M. to the final science bot's location, you'll encounter an impasse. To proceed, use the Hammercrank in the intact Blizar Prime to shift a Blizon Crystal over to the appropriate platform so that it appears in the destroyed Blizar Prime, clearing the way to the last science bot.

Combine Spheres to help Clank's possibilities through the fan and over to the Meta-Terminal.

Exit through the Meta-Terminal (Puzzle 3, Anomaly 2)[]
Unclog the Lube Tube[]

UNCLOG THE LUBE TUBE
Look for a nearby Hammercrank. It may help to clear the blockage.

Access the Drill[]

ACCESS THE DRILL
Take the elevator up to get to the drill. Be careful; you'll encounter some baddies along the way!

Grind to the Drill[]

GRIND TO THE DRILL
Grind the rail towards the drill. Jump over carts and transfer rails to avoid energy gates. Jump to other rails when you see them and hit Blizon to avoid dead ends!

Drill for Phase Quartz[]

DRILL FOR PHASE QUARTZ
Turn the Hammercrank to power up the drill. Expect some resistance!

When the drilling is complete, throw your hammer into the beam to get the Phase Quartz.

Return to the Other Dimension[]

RETURN TO THE OTHER DIMENSION
Fend off the attackers. When the coast is clear, look for a Blizon Crystal nearby to get back to the other dimension.

Stop the Drill![]

IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE
When the dropship is in range, fire until it takes enough damage to send it crashing into the drill. It's the only way to stop the destruction of Blizar!

NATURAL COVER
Use the rock in the center of the arena as cover from the Dropship's attacks. Focus on nearby Troopers when you can.

RELOAD AND REFUEL
Remember to search the area for ammo and health crates to stay in the fight.

Find the Missing Chef (Optional)[]

Chef Tulio left for Honey Ridge and has yet to return.

Respond to the Call[]
Enter the Wasp Caverns[]

GET TO THE WASP CAVERNS
Speak to the Sous Chef located at the northeastern side of the Mining Hub. After chatting, follow the path to some caverns ahead, but be wary of the lava spouts and the enemies along the way.

Cross the Chasm[]

CROSS THE CHASM
Dispose of the Needle Wasps and get to the Blizon Crystal at the edge of the path. Hit it to teleport back to the destroyed Blizar Prime dimension. Cross the Mag Boot pathways to the Blizon Crystal on the other side while dodging incoming Nefarious Blitztrooper fire.

SNIPE THE BLITZTROOPERS
When you arrive at the current dimension Blizar Prime, pick off the Nefarious Blitztroopers with the Negatron Collider before hopping onto the Mag Boot surfaces.

Exit the Wasp Caverns[]

HOP UP THE PATH
Once you've hit the Blizon Crystal taking you back to the alternate Blizar Prime, proceed up the path ahead via the bounce platforms and walls.

Talk to Chef Tulio[]

MEET CHEF TULIO
Walk up the pathway and talk to Chef Tulio.

Defend VAC-U-SUK[]

START THE VAC-U-SUK
Use the Hammercrank to start the Vac-u-Suk.

DEFEND THE VAC-U-SUK!
Defend the Vac-u-Suk with fire traps, which are triggered by standing on the buttons beneath the rifts. Be careful, though, as the traps have a cooldown period! If enemies get too close, use your powerful weaponry to wipe them from existence.

Take the Lift Back[]

TAKE THE LIFT BACK
Once you're done talking to Chef Tulio, take the lift back to the Mining Hub.

Molonoth Gulch, Planet Torren IV[]

Mend the Broken Phase Quartz[]

Rivet and Clank seek the assistance of the legendary Fixer who is said to fix all things.

Find the Fixer[]

FIND THE FIXER
While locating the Fixer, explore Molonoth for hidden treasures.

TALK TO THE VULLARD
After arriving at Little Junktown, run up the path and talk to the friendly Vullard.

MORE HIDDEN TREASURES
From the spot where you first swing into Little Junktown, proceed down the path to the right. You'll find a Mag Boot surface to traverse that'll lead you to Raritanium and a Spybot!

Recover the Hurlshot from the Smelting Pit[]

RECOVER THE HURLSHOT
Proceed to the Smelting Pit to get the Hurlshot. Beware of indigenous threats in your path.

SPEAKING OF INDIGENOUS THREATS
Needle Wasps and Horned Toads are a dreadful combination. Split your attention between the incoming waves, using your Negatron Collider on the Needle Wasps and dispatching the Horned Toads with your favorite crowd-clearing weapon of choice.

RECOVER THE HURLSHOT
Grind the improvised rail system. Transfer rails to dodge hazards or avoid falling. If you can't transfer to specific rails in time, you can break the incoming minecarts with your hammer, but don't rely on it!

TETHER THE RIFT
After transferring rails to avoid the tunnel covered with an orange barrier, you'll soon come upon a rift–tether over to lock yourself down a path leading to a Gold Bolt.

SHIELD PIRATES
Shield Pirates are hard to defeat from the front. Some of your weapons, such as the Shatterbomb and the Ricochet, can hit them from the side. Mr. Fungi can provide supporting fire, should you need it. The Topiary Sprinkler can immobilize them, letting you attack them from the rear.

Return with the Hurlshot[]

RETURN WITH THE HURLSHOT
Press and hold L1 to use the Hurlshot to cross the chasm. Beware of more pirates on your way! Some pesky Shield Pirates will be waiting for you.

CLEAR THE WAY
Before using the Hurlshot, make sure you get rid of the pirates standing on the ship. Their shots can knock you out of your spin!

REINFORCEMENTS
The Pirates are using gunships. Shoot them or the ships they ride on.

FIGHTING ON DECK
You've landed on a Pirate Command Ship and cannot jump off. Defend yourself against the waves of enemies.

PIRATE MARAUDER
Keep your distance, and don't stop firing! When he leaps towards you, quickly reposition to avoid follow-up attacks.

Reboot the Fixer[]

REBOOT THE FIXER
It's time to reboot the Fixer! Use the Hurlshot to cross the chasm toward the Fixer. Beware of the indigenous creatures in this abandoned area.

AGGRESSIVE WILDLIFE
Defend yourself against the indigenous creatures. And if you've got the time to spare, keep an eye out for the pocket dimension in this area.

DOUBLE HURLSHOT
Chain two Hurlshots to cross this large gap.

FLANK AND SHOOT
Pirates will come rushing you the moment this battle starts, so use the rifts in the area often to flank them. The shield pirates will be a constant bother, so focus on them first. Throw out Mr. Fungi and the Topiary Sprinkler to make picking them off easier. Otherwise, keep moving and firing away!

USE THE HURLSHOT
Use the Hurlshot point to get to the other side and face off the Pirate Marauder!

PIRATE MARAUDER
Keep your distance, and don't stop firing! When he leaps towards you, quickly reposition to avoid follow-up attacks. You especially don't want to be hit by the melee smash attack he does when he raises his arm!

COVER YOUR BOOTY
Shield Pirates will soon enter the fray, making this encounter even more of a nuisance! Use your support weapons to help divert their attention while you focus on dishing out damage.

REBOOT THE FIXER (OR EXPLORE!)
Use the Hurlshot chain to proceed to the Fixer. Though, you're welcome to explore the area for treasures before launching off.

ESCAPE![]

ESCAPE!
Escape the mech by riding the rickety, abandoned rails. Transfer to other rails, use wall runs, and swing from Hurlshots to survive.

TETHER THE RIFT
To avoid going in circles, tether to the rift to progress forward and escape.

LOOK FOR HURLSHOTS
Look out for Hurlshots; you'll need to use them to continue your escape. The final stretch is a hectic ride, but keep your wits about you and focus on each moment and obstacle as they come. Stay focused!

Zurkie's, Scarstu Debris Field 2[]

Build the Dimensionator[]

The Lombaxes combine the Phase Quartz with the newly built Dimensionator to save the omniverse.

Meet Ratchet in Zurkie's[]

HEAD TO ZURKIE'S TO MEET RATCHET
Enter Zurkie's through the door at the base of the structure. Access it by crossing the parking lot and proceeding up the ramp.

Defeat Dr. Nefarious[]

WRIST CANNONS
To avoid Dr. Nefarious' wrist cannons, strafe away from where the projectiles are being fired. Be mindful of when the shots start to veer ahead of you and strafe in the opposite direction. Jump or Phantom Dodge if you feel like you're about to be hit.

SWIPE ATTACK
When Dr. Nefarious raises his arm and powers his energy blade, he is about to perform a devastating Swipe Attack. Phantom Dash out of the way to avoid taking damage.

EXHAUSTED
Keep your distance from Dr. Nefarious. If you get too close he may engage his Jet Boot Thrusters, which create a harmful area of exhaust.

GRIND RAIL AND SLING TO SAFETY
Avoid dimensional hazards spawned on the rails by jumping over them or switching rails entirely. Don't forget to use the Slingshot later on, otherwise things may get a bit too hot for comfort.

ENERGY BOMBS
The explosion from Dr. Nefarious' energy bombs disperses outward along the ground. To avoid taking damage, jump toward each projectible right as it hits to land at the center where you're safe.

TELEKENESIS
Dr. Nefarious will often pull explosive crates towards himself and throw them at you. Get behind cover or dodge them to avoid taking damage. You can also shoot the crates before they're thrown to stun him, leaving him open to attack!

GRUNTHOR CHARGE
If a Grunthor scrapes its feet, watch out! It's about to charge. Run or Phantom Dash sideways to avoid being trampled. Also, don't stay too close after it charges, as it'll try to stomp or bite you if you stick around.

OVERCOMPENSATING MISSILE BARRAGE
When Dr. Nefarious shows up after the Grunthor is defeated, he'll soon start attacking you with a missile barrage move. Keep moving and watch the ground for targets to avoid getting hit.

DR. NEFARIOUS' FINAL PHASE
You almost have him! Dr. Nefarious's final phase has him utilizing all the attacks he's thrown at you up to this point. Apply what you've learned and dodge accordingly. Be sure to destroy all the Nefarious Troopers in the area before focusing on him.

OVERCOMPENSATING MISSILE BARRAGE
When Dr. Nefarious moves out of the combat area for his missile barrage attack, keep moving and watch the ground for targets to avoid getting hit.

ENERGY BOMBS
When Dr. Nefarious' energy bombs make contact with the ground, they'll disperse outward. To avoid taking damage, jump toward each projectible right as it hits to land at the center where you're safe.

Silver Cup (Optional)[]

Become the silver champion for bolts and prizes.

SILVER
Break a sweat!

The Mangling[]

Survive Five Waves Against the Mangler

THE MANGLER
The Mangler will move about the arena after Rivet. When you see it spin up its blades quickly and an orange path marks the ground, it's about to charge. Run or Phantom Dash to avoid its painful touch.

IMPARTIAL PUNISHMENT
The Mangler's spinning blades will damage anything they come in contact with. Keep it in between you and your enemies to have it damage any in its path.

FASTER IT GOES
Throughout the fight the Mangler will increase its charging speed. Keep on your toes to avoid taking damage.

Ka-boomstick Blast[]

Defeat Four Waves of Enemies Using the Warmonger

KA-BOOM
The Warmonger's rockets create a large explosion that will damage anything within the explosive radius. Use it to get some revenge on the Nefarious Troopers.

ROUND 'EM UP
Kite melee enemies around the arena. When they are all grouped up, a single Warmonger rocket can take out multiple foes.

BIG BOOM, SMALL CLIP
The Warmonger has limited ammo reserves. Make sure you keep on the move, destroying ammo crates as you see them to replenish your supplies.

Pest Control[]

Defeat 50 pests before succumbing to the poison gas

PEST CONTROL
The arena is full of toxic gas. Defeat enemies as quickly as possible before your health depletes.

ANTIDOTE
Smash the Health Crate at the center of the arena to replenish your health as often as you can.

NEGATRON COLLIDER IS BEST
Keep moving and prioritize the Needle Wasps over smaller pests that attack. The Negatron Collider will help you blast them out of the air.

Freezer Pop[]

Defeat 25 Frozen Amoeboids

FREEZER POP
Fire the Cold Snap at your enemies, freezing everyone in the blast radius. Smash them with your hammer before they break free.

SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE
Amoeboids will split when their health is depleted. Freezing groups, splitting them, and freezing the new enemies is a fast way to success.

CRUSHED ICE
Use the Hammer Slam to damage multiple iced enemies in close proximity.

Revenge of the Seekerpede[]

Defeat Scolo the Seekerpede

Outpost L51, Planet Sargasso 2[]

Stop the Emperor's Invasion[]

Rivet and Kit need to help the Morts fight off the Emperor's invasion!

Defend the Morts[]

DEFEND THE MORTS
Clear the Gelatonium platform of the invading Nefarious Troops. There's plenty of cover to get behind, but this battle is more of a mid-to-close-range encounter, so feel free to go all out. When all enemies are destroyed, talk to the Morts.

Free the Seekerpede[]

FREE THE SEEKERPEDE
Use the Wall Run panels to get to the next area.

ENEMY OF MY ENEMY
Conserve ammo by allowing the wildlife of Sargasso to do some of the fighting for you. But remember, those creatures see Rivet as a target, too. Hang back to see what happens and enter the fray when you're ready to fight.

TURN THE HAMMER CRANK
After clearing the Gelatonium platform and listening to the Nefariouses blabber, turn the Hammercrank to unlock the path forward.

OVER THE HILL
Push up the hill and destroy all the Nefarious Troopers along the way. Take cover if needed, but you should be fine so long as you keep applying pressure and overwhelming the enemy forces.

GRUNTHOR VS. NEFARIOUS TROOPS
The same "Enemy of my Enemy" principle applies to the Nefarious Troops. When you're near the marsh, it might be in your best interest to let them whittle down the Grunthor first. Or you can help the Grunthor clear the troops! It's up to you!

ISLAND COMBAT
Be mindful of the terrain as you fight the Nefarious Troopers. You don't want to fall into the swamp acid, so use extra care as you strafe and jump over the gunfire. Alternatively, there's plenty of cover in and around the area to use if you'd rather pick off enemies from afar.

IT'S A TRAP
When you make it to the top of the hill where the Seekerpede is, a pack of Nefarious Troopers will appear from all sides to ambush you. Deal with the Sluggers first, and then blast the Blitztroopers.

HEAVY HITTER
Use your heavy damage weapons on the Juggernaut to take it out quickly. Keep moving and prioritize any reinforcements that appear.

ROAD SIDE REPAIR
Free the Seekerpede by repairing the Dimensional Anomaly with Kit.

WARPED
With the power of the Dimensionator, Nefarious forces can now enter combat through rifts. Don't let yourself be caught off guard! Keep firing and get in Phantom Dodge out of the way if you feel like you're about to be hit by any enemy attacks.

DESTROY THE NEFARIOUS SHIP
After the fight is over, turn the Hammercrank to blow up the Nefarious ship.

Destroy the Nefarious Ships (with Trudi!)[]

DESTROY THE NEFARIOUS SHIPS (WITH TRUDI)

Use the Morts' Bombs to destroy Nefarious Ships. Press the square button to pick one up and throw it.

Pirate Base, Planet Ardolis[]

Rescue Captain Quantum[]

Ratchet and Clank must find Captain Quantum before the Emperor does.

Rescue Pierre Le Fer[]

RESCUE PIERRE LE FER
Enter the pirate caves! On the way, look through the telescope to get a sense of Pierre's current situation.

ENTER THE CAVES
Be careful! You'll find Space Pirates and some indigenous creatures holed up in the caves ahead, so be prepared for a fight.

FIRE THE CANNON
Use your wrench to hit the cannon with the shining skull button to fire bombs at the Space Pirates camped beside the prison. You can hit the cannon multiple times to fire even more bombs.

RIFT UP TO THE SECOND FLOOR
You'll fight Space Pirates and eventually Goons-4-Less in this encounter. Both will try to ambush and surround you, so keep moving to avoid getting overwhelmed. Use the rift to escape to the second floor if things get too hectic on the ground.

SHIELD PIRATES
Shield Pirates are hard to defeat from the front. Some of your weapons, such as the Shatterbomb and the Ricochet, can hit them from the side. Mr. Fungi and the Bombardier can provide supporting fire, should you need it. The Topiary Sprinkler can immobilize them, letting you attack them from the rear.

HEALTH AND AMMO
Break open the health and ammo boxes scattered around the area if you're running low.

NOT SO FAST
Approach the ramp first before you Hoverboot across to rescue Pierre. Whatever's pursuing you will reveal itself to harm some attacking Space Pirates first. Get to the other side once the coast is clear.

MAINTAIN THE UPPER HAND
There's a lot of Space Pirates here to ambush you. Don't give them a chance to overwhelm you! The Lightning Rod can stun them when grouped up, but you'll want to keep moving. Support weapons, like Mr. Fungi, Glove of Doom, and the Topiary Sprinkler, are key to surviving this fight.

USE THE RIFTS
Make use of the rifts in this area to either flank enemies or retreat. You can use the Hoverboots to get around quickly as well.

FREE PIERRE
Once the room is clear of Space Pirates, use the Boltcrank to bring Pierre back over solid land.

Use the Hurlshot to enter Skull Mountain.

Survive the Pirate Trials[]

KARAOKE KING
Wrench Slam the button to start the challenge and then shoot the pirates in the correct order to complete the Karaoke challenge.

DEFEAT THE PIRATES
Prioritize picking off the Space Pirates from afar. If you run low on long-range weapon ammo, you can use the grappling points to swing closer, but be careful, as the Space Pirates can shoot you out of the air.

PIRATE MARAUDER
Keep your distance, and don't stop firing! When he leaps towards you, quickly reposition, as he'll melee attack you if you're too close. Also, watch out for his Blunderbuss Bombs. When targets appear on the ground, keep moving to avoid them. Be careful; they split into smaller bombs on detonation.

CLAIM YOUR PRIZE
After the Marauder has been defeated, turn the Boltcrank and collect your prize: a Robot Pirate Helmet!

Protect Quantum from the Pirates[]

DON'T GET OVERWHELMED
The incoming waves of enemies will quickly overwhelm you if you're not careful. Start by throwing out support weapons, and then keep yourself moving. Ideally, keep enemies at arm's length and group them up, so you can devastate them with heavy weaponry.

FIRE THE CANNONS
Hit the cannons with your wrench to deal additional damage against the incoming Space Pirates.

Launch the Ship 1[]

SMASH THE RED BUTTON
Launch the ship by performing a Wrench Slam on the red button near the top of the ship.

Disable the Plunder Beam[]

CLEAR THE FIRST CLIPPER
Proceed down the stairs and toward the clipper docked to the side of the ship. Quickly clear the area of all enemy presence. A well-placed shot at the explosive barrels should help with the general effort.

CLEAR THE SECOND CLIPPER
A second clipper has docked to the other side of the ship. Don't rush up to the Space Pirates with your Hoverboots. Instead, pick them off from afar!

GET TO THE FINAL CLIPPER
Hitch a ride to the third clipper using grappling hook points on the moving ships. Press and hold L1 to latch on.

CLEAR THE FINAL CLIPPER
Release from the grappling point and ambush the Space Pirates on the third clipper. A Topiary Sprinkler and some well-placed shots from the Warmonger should quickly destroy them.

DISABLE THE PLUNDER BEAM
Turn the Boltcrank to disable the Plunder Beam.

Return to Launch the Captain's Ship[]

PROTECT QUANTUM FROM THE PIRATES
Jump back down to Quantum's Ship.

Launch the Ship 2[]

LAUNCH THE SHIP
Wrench Slam the button at the front of the ship to activate the thrusters.

Destroy the Scuttler[]

DESTROY THE SCUTTLER
The Tide Twins will continually shoot Blunderbuss Bombs. Keep dodging them until the Hurlshot point becomes available. Use it to reach their scuttler.

THE TIDE TWINS
The Tide Twins are a handful, but they're manageable, so long as you're smart and keep firing at them with everything you got. Before taking them on, prioritize destroying the small enemies. You don't want those pests getting in the way.

KEEP THE TWINS IN FRONT
Don't let the Tide Twins surround you. Keep moving back to ensure they're in front of you at all times. Try to circle the area while constantly firing at them. If you need breathing room, use support weapons, like Mr. Fungi, Glove of Doom, and the Topiary Sprinkler.

RING THE BELL
When the Tide Twins are destroyed, turn the Boltcrank to ring the bell and destroy the scuttler.

Team Nefarious plans to conquer every dimension in existence using the dimensional map!

Get to the Archives[]

GET TO THE ARCHIVES
Nefarious Troops have invaded Savali! Push forward to get to the Archives. Unfortunately, you'll encounter some resistance on the way. The area is fairly open, with a few walls of cover. Rush in and ambush the invaders before they have a chance to know what hit them!

UNDEAD ENEMY OF MY ENEMY
Conserve ammo by allowing the Undead Goons to do some of the fighting for you. But remember, these supernatural foes see Ratchet as a target, too. Hang back to see what happens and enter the fray when you're ready to fight.

UNDEAD GOONS
Despite their intimidating presence, Undead Goons are incredibly weak. Bait their attention and fall back to group them up. Then, use whatever powerful explosive or close-range weaponry you've got to blast them into pieces.

GET TO THE ARCHIVES
Enter the Archives through the open rift.

Search Emperor Nefarious' ship[]

ELEVATOR UP
Nefarious Troops will be coming from multiple sides as you ride the elevators up Nefarious' ship. Keep moving around the elevator perimeter to keep enemies from flanking you. You'll notice enemies hover around the area before landing on the elevator; shoot them as they do so to get in early damage.

WEIGHT LIMIT
Keep moving and use your heavy weapons. Utilize status weapons, such as the Topiary Sprinkler, to temporarily incapacitate the enemy.

NOWHERE TO HIDE
Don't rely on crates for protection–the Juggernaut will make short work of them.

CHEAP SHOTS
Get some damage in early by attacking the Juggernaut as it enters the combat area.

Activate the Machinery[]

ACTIVATE THE MACHINERY
Fend off the Undead Goons and step on the pressure plates to activate the machinery. Look to the waypoints on the map if you get lost. You'll know you're going in the right direction when you're moving toward a red beacon.

Access the Catacombs[]

ACCESS THE CATACOMBS
Enter the pit created by the machinery and turn the Boltcrank to enter the Catacombs.

Travel to the Anomaly[]

TRAVEL TO THE ANOMALY
Ride a Speetle over the acid to reach the anomaly. Hold R1 to maintain top speed and don't hesitate to crash into any Undead Goons along the way; you'll mow right through them.

Defend the Monks[]

DEFEND THE MONKS
Prioritize the Undead Goons over the Undead Grunthor to avoid being overwhelmed. Be on guard, as more will appear through rifts throughout the fight. Keep moving and, if necessary, use the large pillars around the room for cover.

UNDEAD GRUNTHOR
Focus on the Undead Grunthor once the smaller enemies are defeated. Use your heavy weapons and keep your distance to avoid its bite and tail swipe.

CALL IN SUPPORT
If you start to feel overwhelmed, use your support weapons, like Mr. Fungi, Glove of Doom, or the Topiary Sprinkler. These will give you some breathing room to counterattack or break open ammo/health boxes.

Zordoom Prison, Planet Viceron[]

Rescue Everyone from Zordoom Prison[]

Ratchet, Clank and Kit have been imprisoned in Zordoom.

Find the Others[]

BREAK IN
It's time to break into a maximum-security prison! Follow the path forward, and don't forget to explore every nook and cranny. There are valuable collectibles to be found along the way.

SWING TO PROCESSING
You'll need a way to get over to the processing facility. Interact with the console to bring over a grapple point you can use to swing over.

CLEAR THE AREA
Take out the Nefarious Troops guarding the area. Watch out for the Nefarious Sniper Bots! Either snipe them back with the Headhunter or blow them out of the air with your explosive weapons. Anything that can pack a punch will do!

FIND ANOTHER WAY IN
Use your traversal skills to get to the side of the processing facility. There ought to be a way inside over there that'll take you to your friends.

EXPLORE THE DUCTS
Access the processing facility via the ventilation ducts. Before dropping down to save your friends, be sure to explore the multiple pathways to find valuable collectibles.

FREE YOUR FRIENDS
Quickly eliminate the Nefarious Troopers and use the Hammercrank to free your friends from prison.

Free Ratchet and Kit[]

ESCAPE PROCESSING
Time to find Ratchet and Kit! Break out of the processing facility and blast all the Nefarious Troopers you encounter. Make your way outside.

BLAST THE SNIPERS
It's those dreaded Nefarious Sniper Bots again. Take cover and blast them out of the sky with whatever long-range weaponry you have on hand. If you have the Headhunter, know that you can headshot Sniper Bots now!

TRANSFER DOCK RUMBLE
Nefarious Blitztroopers and Sluggers make for a deadly combination. Your priority should be the Blitztroopers, as their Gatling gun attacks will likely overwhelm you. Though, be mindful of the Sluggers and the basic Nefarious Troopers swarming the area.

USE THE RIFTS
Like always, you'll want to use rifts to either flank enemies or retreat. The Transfer Dock is a claustrophobic battle arena, but as long as you keep moving back and forth from each of its sides and taking cover, you should get out of this one mostly unscathed.

BRIDGE OUT AHEAD
The Transfer Manager has deactivated the energy bridge. Find a way to turn it back on.

NEAR AND FAR
Choose to engage the Transfer Facility Manager from a distance or up close and personal. Either way, you've got this in the bag!

Follow Ratchet's Cell[]

GET TO THE DOME ROOM
Phantom Dash through the security gate, and then throw your hammer at the button to enter the Dome Room. Though, make sure to go up the stairs to the left at the start to grab a hidden stash of Raritanium.

DOME COMBAT
It's another batch of Nefarious Sniper Bots. Take cover and blast them out of the sky with whatever long-range weaponry you have on hand. Take cover around the metal walls surrounding the center platform if you need to!

Shut Down the Reactor[]

REUNITED AGAIN
After chatting with Ratchet and Kit, go through the door at the back and head to the Warden's Office. Take out the Nefarious Troopers along the way.

UP TO THE WARDEN'S OFFICE
Use your traversal skills to access the Warden's office.

BREAK THE FAN
Use Phantom Dash and run down the shaft. Hit the ventilation duct fan with your hammer.

THE TERMINAL
Interact with the terminal, but prepare yourself. There's an intense firefight ahead.

Return to the V.I.P. Section[]

WARDEN OFF BAD VIBES
Use cover and look for ammo and health crates. Some of your weapons are better for crowd control, and some are better for precision against specific threats. Remember to Phantom Dash to minimise taking hits.

Don't Lose Ratchet[]

REROUTING
Work with your newfound allies to navigate back to Ratchet and Kit. Look for rifts to keep up with the cell and destroy all the Nefarious Troops you encounter along the way.

TAKE OUT THE JUGGERNAUT
The Goons-4-Less will help you defeat the Juggernaut. Keep firing, and it should be down far sooner than usual. Thanks, Goons!

HIT THE TWO BUTTONS
Approach Ratchet and Kit and then wait for the platform to lower. Once they're gone, throw your hammer at the buttons to open the door and pursue them.

MAINTAIN MAX SPEED
Maintain max speed with your Hoverboots. There's a clock ticking against you, so time is of the essence! You'll need the extra velocity to jump off ramps. But be careful, the major early obstacle you'll encounter is fire, so make sure to time your jumps as you're rushing ahead.

TAKE THE HURLSHOT

MACHINE GUN MOUTH

Defeat the Emperor[]

TAKE EM DOWN
Dodge Nefarious' attacks and return fire. Take out the troopers as they enter. Time your Phantom Dash to avoid taking too many hits and look for health and ammo crates.

CHARGE PUNCH
When Emperor Nefarious raises his arm, he is about to perform a devastating punch. Phantom Dash out of the way to avoid taking damage.

ENERGY BEAM
