This page is a list of all gold bolt locations in Rift Apart. There are a total of twenty-five gold bolts hidden in each of the locations. Most are found in hidden areas, while some are acquired after beating challenges. The majority of these are accessible on the first visit to the location. Several bolts can only be acquired after revisiting the location later, as the required item is only available later in the game.
The gold bolts are used to activate several cheats and player customizations that are available from the Collectibles menu.
Collecting a gold bolt will unlock the bronze trophy Shiny!; collecting five will unlock the silver trophy Nooks and Crannies.

Corson V[]
Off the Beaten Path[]
The first Gold Bolt in Nefarious City, Corson V is found on the path of the Phantom chase (past Club Nefarious) during "Find Clank", and located in the southeast of the map. After jumping into the courtyard while chasing Phantom, keep an eye out for a hidden path. Use your Rift Tether to bridge the gap and collect the Gold Bolt.
Bazaar Secret[]
Requiring the Phantom Dash's wall run ability granted by Phantom during "Find Clank", the second Gold Bolt is located in the northeast end of the map, close to where the ship landing pad is. Above the Bazaar, look for the raritanium cache. Make sure you have the proper gadgets to clear the gap to collect the Gold Bolt. From where the floating platform leads down into the Bazaar, look to the left to find wall run panels on the side of a building leading to another rooftop where the Gold Bolt is found.
Lost Package[]
The third Gold Bolt is found during the "Search the Factory" route, in the west of the map. After entering the first room of the warehouse from the Bazaar, use the wall jump slot to reach the upper area where a blue doorway leads to the next room. After the wall jump, search the factory. Take the high road, avoiding the crates, to collect the Gold Bolt.
Sargasso[]
Morts' Gold[]
The first gold bolt in Outpost L51, Sargasso, is found in the northwest of the map. After saving the Morts from the Goons-4-Less, head to the back of the Gelatonium factory. Use your Rift Tether to reach the Gold Bolt atop an island.
Jurassic Gold[]
The second gold bolt is found just outside the entrance to Rivet's hideout. After jumping the damaged bridge on the Speetle and defeating the Grunthor, head behind the Gelatonium Platform to find the Gold Bolt.
Sunstruck Bolt[]
In order to acquire the third gold bolt Trudi's free-roaming flight ability must first be unlocked during "Help Trudi". While riding Trudi around Sargasso, look towards the ring tower and fly through the center to collect the Gold Bolt.
Zurkie's[]
Magnetic Find[]
The first gold bolt at Zurkie's, Scarstu Debris Field is found near where Rivet's ship lands. A ramp to the right leads down to a lower landing pad where a Magneboots strip is found. Use your Magneboots to navigate to the Gold Bolt hidden beneath one of the platforms. Mag Jump to reach the Gold Bolt on the opposing Mag Surface.
Speetle Race Bronze[]
The second gold bolt is found by winning a Battleplex Challenge. Complete the Bronze Cup Challenge, "Awesome Bugtrax Done Quick," to receive the Gold Bolt as a reward.
Pest Control Silver[]
The third gold bolt is also found by winning a Battleplex Challenge. Complete the Silver Cup Challenge "Pest Control" to receive this Gold Bolt as a reward.
Savali[]
Golden Portal[]
The first gold bolt in Urfdah Mesa, Savali is located on top of a tall rock pillar in the Badlands at the eastern side of the map, though the path to obtain it begins in the northeast just before the entrance to the canyons. In the canyons, use your hoverboots and Boost Pads on the route to speed over the Pressure Locks. If done quickly enough, a rift will open, giving access to the Gold Bolt.
Runaway Bolt[]
The second gold bolt is located on the southeast end of the map, on a floating platform that will flee from Ratchet when approached and must be pursued with hoverboots. When close enough, the Swingshot target on its back can be grappled to. Located inside a remote cave atop a rocky rise, chase down the Skiff. Get on board and use the console to shut it down, granting access to the Gold Bolt.
Pit of Gold[]
During "Find the Dimensional Map Before the Emperor", the ground beneath the Badlands Temple is broken, granting Ratchet access to the catacombs entrance. Opposite this is a much smaller door with a Zeta Virus infected console by it which Glitch must be used at. Behind this door is the third Savali Gold Bolt. This is the fifth and final sequential Glitch challenge found in Rift Apart. Complete the Hacking Puzzle in the catacombs to unlock the door leading to the Gold Bolt.
Blizar Prime[]
Melting Point[]
The first gold bolt in the Blizon Mines, Blizar Prime is found in the intact dimension early on in the path, on the southern tip of the map. Off the beaten path outside of the Welcome Center, an old worksite hides a Gold Bolt. Around the islands where lava puffoids are first encountered, instead of proceeding down the typical path, take a detour and head left (south on the map) to a larger island where the gold bolt is found.
Miners' Gold[]
The second gold bolt is located in the Mining Hub in Rivet's dimension, but first accessed from the intact dimension. Hit the Blizon in the Mining Hub to swap to the destroyed Blizar's Mining Hub. From here, you'll be able to locate the Gold Bolt. At the back of the hub is a Magneboots path that will lead you right to it.
Golden Honey[]
The third gold bolt is found in the northeast area around where "Find the Missing Chef" was complete, but in Rivet's dimension. While underneath the Honey Hive, hit the Blizon to swap to the destroyed Blizar where you will find the Gold Bolt. Navigate some Magneboot panels and fight the Nefarious Troopers here to locate the Gold Bolt on a nearby floating island.
Torren IV[]
Fool's Gold[]
The first gold bolt in Molonoth Gulch, Torren IV is located in the outskirts early on, near where the ship lands. After defeating the first group of toads by the landing pad, look for a path to the right inside a cave. Traverse to the platform and collect the Gold Bolt. A hoverboot boost pad will lead to the Gold Bolt at the end of a destroyed bridge.
Gold Grinder[]
The second Gold Bolt is found whilst on the grind rail section on the way to the Smelting Pit. Along the grind rail after Little Junktown, look for a Rift Tether that will allow you to transfer to a far rail, collecting the Gold Bolt along the way. Rivet will audibly exclaim "There's a rift!", when it comes into view and can be tethered towards.
Cordelion[]
Make the Leap[]
The first gold bolt in Kedaro Station, Cordelion is located early on near where the ship lands, on the eastmost platform in Rivet's dimension. The platform is initially protected by a barrier, but a blizon crystal on the platform will allow those who entered from the ruined dimension to reach it. From the main elevator on the exterior platform, use your hoverboots to jump out and the Rift Tether to pull yourself to safety. Once there, hit the Blizon to swap dimensions and locate the Gold Bolt.
Malfunction[]
The second gold bolt is found in the ruined dimension, early on down the long, linear hallway after Ratchet first spots an Amoeboid and inside a room on the left. Beyond a malfunctioning door lies the Gold Bolt. Use your Rift Tether to pass through the thin opening to collect it.
Deep Sea Treasure[]
The third gold bolt is found in the seafloor traversal section of the ruined dimension. To reach it, the mag launch must be used to attach to a vertical panel and walk up to a higher section. After defeating the Toxic Crabs, look to the right to follow the path leading to a raised area. Here, you'll be able to navigate to the Gold Bolt.
Ardolis[]
Tricky Gold[]
The first Gold Bolt in the Pirate Base, Ardolis is located around the center of the map, and can be reached with the Speetle found at Poacher's Pier. After first mounting the speetle towards Skull Mountain, when the path after the first ring leads left, instead take a right. This will lead down a series of ramps through rings and around explosive barrels that veers off to the right and eventually circles back to the start again. While riding the Speetle around the lagoon, boost up a ramp and launch over the explosive barrels to collect the Gold Bolt.
Spoiled Gold[]
The second Gold Bolt is found by the second of the Pirate Trials. During the Pirate Trials, look for the Gold Bolt hidden within a defunct feeder for an unfortunate Grunthor. Access the Bolt by using Glitch on the infected console.
Viceron[]
Stolen Treasure[]
The first Gold Bolt in Zordoom Prison, Viceron is located inside the Impound Hangers, just next to Disposal Center IG-29 (shortly after where the ship lands on the first visit; on subsequent visits, a teleporter leads here). Phantom Dash through the scanner door by Ms. Zurkon's first stall in Disposal Center IG-29. Here you can find the Gold Bolt sitting on an impounded pirate ship.
Processed Gold[]
The second Gold Bolt is found after leaving the front of the Processing Center (where Clank is rescued during "Rescue Everyone from Zordoom Prison", to the south on the map). Outside of the Processing Center, head to the right to locate the Gold Bolt hidden behind a large crane.
Gold Bars[]
The third Gold Bolt is found in the West Wing - V.I.P. section and can be collected once the prisoner cells become unlocked (during subsequent visits to the planet, Rivet's ship lands just outside here). Return to the V.I.P. Section of Zordoom after Rivet visits the Warden's Office. Here, you can locate the Gold Bolt. It is found inside a center cell on the higher level of the room.
