Template:Appearances Return to the garage is a mission in Ratchet & Clank. After Clank crash-landed on Veldin, Ratchet rescued him from his crashed ship before it exploded. Seeing that Clank was in need of repairs, Ratchet took him back to the garage to fix him.
Walkthrough
In this first area, head towards a cliff with a green, metal object floating above the gap between the next cliff. This is a versa-target, which is used for Ratchet's Swingshot. To use the Swingshot, jump towards the target, and hold 
to cross the gap and jump to the next platform. Here, you will find the Combuster lying around. This is a long-range blaster weapon that comes loaded with ammunition of up to 40. It is useful in most situations at this stage, though it begins with a slow rate of fire and deals relatively low damage, though it can be improved with upgrades later.
To equip the weapon, either hold 
to open quick select and select the Combuster icon on the left, or use 
on the direction pad. Hold 
and then aim at the green button on the door across the gap. Fire at this button to open it, then once the door opens to reveal another button in the top right, aim and fire at that one to extend the bridge.
Here, you will spot a blarg trooper that has yet to detect you. These enemies fire ranged but slow laser attacks at you. They are relatively weak and will go down quickly. Use the Combuster against the blarg trooper, and as you do so, keep an eye out for ammo from any nearby crates. Swing across the destroyed bridge, then defeat the blarg troopers here and the ones that spawn from the blarg armored transport ship. Proceed forward, using the Swingshot on two versa-targets to cross the chasm. While fighting, make sure to aim and strafe. While holding this button, jump in either direction to flip, allowing you to dodge the lasers.
Across here, you will find a blarg armored transport firing at you (which Clank remarks is the Model X6Z, also known as "The Dropship of Death"). This ship fires rapid-fire lasers and is deadly, though you can shield yourself by taking cover behind one of four rocks. Use the Fusion Grenade and the Combuster to destroy it while being sure to dodge its lasers whenever you run out of cover. Use the Swingshot to get across to the initial area you previously passed through. From here, you will see the garage, as well as a horde of blarg troopers patrolling outside it.
Head below and fight them all. Along with blarg troopers, more transports will arrive to spawn warbots, ranged enemies that are slightly more durable than blarg troopers. When the dropship attacks, fight the warbots and troopers first while dodging attacks from the dropship before attacking it. In the area behind the garage are several ammo crates and nanotech crates in case you need any of them. Try to keep the fight stationed around here, so you can take cover behind any rocks and debris, and easily restock on nanotech and ammo. Once all resistance has been cleared, the garage door will open for you to enter and finish the mission.
