I present to you the RYNO V, the most powerful weapon in the known universe! You be careful with this thing, now; it packs a heck of a punch!
The RYNO V is a weapon manufactured by Gadgetron in A Crack in Time. It is the fifth iteration of the R.Y.N.O., and is obtained by collecting ten holo-plan that are found hidden in various locations and presenting them to the Smuggler. The RYNO V is the most powerful weapon in the game and rapidly fires bullets and missiles. While firing, it plays the "1812 Overture", a classical piece by Russian composer Piotr Illych Tchaikovsky.
The RYNO V can be upgraded to the Mega RYNO V with use. In challenge mode, the Omega RYNO V can be purchased for 1,000,000 bolts.
The RYNO V is a large weapon featuring two barrels that fire bullets and an central barrel that fires a larger missile. It plays the "1812 Overture" by Piotr Illych Tchaikovsky while firing, which loops every 5 seconds. When firing, the weapon sprays hails of bullets from its barrels, and in tune with the 1812 Overture, it launches a missile (similar to the Negotiator) from the center barrel of the gun while the outer barrels sprayed bullets in a similar fashion to two overlapping miniguns.
The RYNO V has 1500 rounds of ammo at V1 (up to 3000 at VX), though it consumes ammo at an amazing rate due to its rapid fire. As it is easy to miss with the weapon, the player will need to keep this in mind and conserve ammo. Not all of its bullets or missiles will hit enemies, though its rapid fire and the power of its individual rounds that do hit means it can easily destroy most enemies on screen. The RYNO V is weaker against moving targets as they can easily evade it, though the player can use a Groovitron or the CryoMine Glove to slow them down. However, this aside, there is little strategy to the RYNO V, as it is powerful enough to make short work of most enemies (including most bosses) on its own.
