The RYNO II is a weapon manufactured by Gadgetron in Going Commando. It is the second iteration of the R.Y.N.O. series, and is a rapid-fire missile launcher which fires immensely powerful missiles at all available enemies. The RYNO II can be purchased from the Help Matron on Barlow for 1,000,000 bolts, but due to its price, is not likely to be purchased by the player until much later. Unlike other Gadgetron weapons, it is not unlocked for free with a Ratchet & Clank save. It cannot be upgraded in any way. Upon reaching challenge mode, the RYNO II can be purchased from Megacorp vendors as well as the Help Matron.
The RYNO II is a long and cylindrical weapon, with blue and red paint. It has eight nozzles which rotate when fired, similar to a minigun (though it will only rotate one barrel at a time after firing).
The RYNO II is an auto-targeting weapon which fires missiles rapidly at targets. It has a good amount of ammo and at a relatively low price, and unlike other most RYNO weapons, more can be picked up in ammo crates. It is the most powerful weapon in the game, as its missiles individually are extremely strong with a decent blast radius and can be fired at such a rate that they will instantly destroy any group of enemies. The RYNO II is most useful for making short work of bosses, and will easily defeat most before its ammunition is even depleted. For instance, the Mutant Protopet can be defeated in at least fifty blasts of the weapon.
The RYNO II cannot be upgraded, though it can be modified with the Lock On Mod. This mod provides little value for the player, as it already is easy to aim, and even when locked-on is likely to fire missiles that hit nothing at all.
