The Puma is a vehicle in Deadlocked. It is an armored car constructed by Vox Industries for use in DreadZone challenges. Ratchet first made use of the vehicle in "Where the Leviathans Roam" on planet Sarathos, and again in "Total Control" and "Speed Trap" on planet Maraxus.
The Puma has four wheels, with the rear two being substantially larger than those on the front. It has a large single-barrel cannon mounted on the top, which automatically targets nearby enemies, along with two smaller machine guns on either side of the cockpit.
It is armored enough to withstand several enemy attacks, alongside with enough acceleration to clear small gaps and crush medium-sized enemies. The main cannon itself is enough to handle larger enemies, provided the vehicle is not flanked as it cannot attack multiple enemies at the same time, nor strafe, forcing users to rely on hit and run tactics. In multiplayer, it can be operated by two people: a driver, and a passenger that controls the main cannon.
