Nevo Binklemeyer is a character in All 4 One. A tharpod scientist from Magnus, he was a colleague of Dr. Frumpus Croid. Together, they developed a protomorphic energy extractor while studying the tharpods' unique bond with Magnus' critters. Their research, conducted at the Frumpus Croid Exploratorium of Scientific Wonderment, eventually laid the groundwork for Ephemeris.
Nevo's work with Dr. Croid was initially successful, but one day, Dr. Croid awoke to find his laboratory vandalized and both Nevo and Mr. Dinkles missing. Nevo later seized control of Ephemeris from Dr. Croid and heavily modified it, transforming it into the machine that, alongside the collector minions led by Commander Spog, terrorized Magnus.
History[]
Before All 4 One[]
Nevo Binklemeyer became an expert in robotics, avionics, and quantum mechanics.[1] At some point, he patented the Weather Alteration Systems Platform, or W.A.S.P.[2] Working together in the Hall of Paradoxology, the two equipped it with a sophisticated AI named "the Steward", designed at first to be helpful for when a tharpod was without their creature companion.[3]

Nevo was close friends with Dr. Croid. While studying the tharpods' profound connection to the planet's flora, they observed Dr. Croid's pet, Mr. Dinkles, through a vectomorphic tricilloscope. This led to the discovery of cosmic radiation within him.[4] Unbeknownst to them, this radiation was the Loki Master, who had possessed Mr. Dinkles.[5]

Believing he could modify his protomorphic energy extractor to separate the cosmic energy from its host,[4] Nevo attempted to extract the energy. Instead, the Loki Master, still possessing Mr. Dinkles, stole the plans for the device. When Nevo tried to intervene, he failed. The Loki Master considered killing him but ultimately decided to keep Nevo as a pet,[5] forcing him at gunpoint to design and build for him.[6]
Twenty-two years later, Dr. Croid sent Ephemeris—originally a small drone—to locate Mr. Dinkles.[7] Over the following 28 years, the Loki Master had Nevo modify Ephemeris, vastly increasing its size, removing its directive confining it to Magnus, and granting it interplanetary travel capabilities.[8] The Loki Master also had Nevo build the collector minions,[5] which would later invade Uzo City and terrorize the tharpods.[9]

When Ratchet, Clank, Captain Qwark, and Dr. Nefarious arrived on Magnus, they searched for Nevo, believing him to be responsible for the collector minions' attacks based on Dr. Croid's holo-diaries. Upon finding him, they realized he was actually terrified, and he revealed the true culprit: the Loki Master.[5] The heroes then fought the grivelnox, which had been possessed by the Loki Master, while Nevo and Dr. Croid worked to use the protomorphic energy extractor to separate the Loki Master's soul from the creature and defeat it.[10]
After the Loki Master was destroyed, Dr. Croid eliminated all remaining Toranux fragments, eradicating the loki. With the threat gone, he and Nevo reconciled and became friends once more.[11]
