The Nefarious Blitztrooper is an aerial unit of the Nefarious Troopers in Rift Apart and are armed with a pair of quad-blasters.

Rift Apart[]
They are first encountered by Ratchet on planet Savali and Rivet in the debris of Blizar Prime as part of the strike teams sent by Dr. Nefarious to intercept the two Lombaxes.
At Zurkie's Battleplex, they and many other Troopers are fought in the Silver Cup challenge "Ka-Boomstick Blast", exclusively with a Warmonger by Rivet. Later in the Gold Cup challenge "A Good Time to Zoom", they and other long ranged attacking Troopers are fought again by Rivet exclusively with a Headhunter. Finally in the Gold Cup challenge "Twice as Nice", they appear to fight Rivet during the Scolo Seekerpede fight when it's health reaches 20%.
The Blitztroopers appear during Emperor Nefarious' invasion of Sargasso, as security guards in Zordoom Prison and as part of the Emperor's attack forces in Megalopolis, during his invasion of Ratchet and Clank's dimension. When the Emperor's Imperial Power Suit is destroyed and he loses his composure, he begins opening rifts to bring in all of his armies to make Rivet submit to him, to which many Nefarious Troopers including several Blitztroopers gather and target Rivet with their weapons. During Rivet's fight against the Emperor, Kit holds off his armies and fights several Blitztroopers in the background.
Combat[]
Their main attack is a pair of gatling gun arms, delivering extremely dense laser fire. These shots aren't as fast as the Lasertrooper's lasers and so are easier to dodge, but if you get hit by them, it's all too easy to get hit by the rest of the incoming fire. Fighting them in the open is not advised as you can quickly be overwhelmed especially if there are multiples of them and it would be wise to use pieces of the environment as cover to move between and get closer to them before attacking.
The Blitztroopers remain airborne at all times, hovering above the battlefield and will pin Ratchet or Rivet down easily with their gun fire. They have about the same health as Sluggers, but not as much as Peacekeepers. Thus a Warmonger Rocket or two is usually all that's needed to take them down. The Negatron Collider can work as well in a pinch or the Void Repulser as it can catch their individual blasts in its shield and fire the shots back at them. Throwing out a weapon to draw enemy fire like Mr. Fungi or an assist like the Bombardier can help alleviate the pressure they put on. The Topiary Sprinkler and Cold Snap are also viable options for paralyzing them in desperate situations.
