Ms. Zurkon is a character in Rift Apart from Rivet's dimension. She is a dimensional counterpart of Mrs. Zurkon and is physically identical to her but with slightly different color schemes. She is the life partner of Zurkie and the mother of Zurkon Jr.
Ms. Zurkon and her counterpart serve as the vendors for Rift Apart, providing Ratchet and Rivet with weapons, ammunition, and raritanium upgrade services. Part of the Zurkon family business, Ms. Zurkon sells weapons as a side hustle to fund Zurkon Jr.'s college education, but also collaborates with the Resistance to topple Emperor Nefarious.
History[]
Before Rift Apart[]
Zurkie, Ms. Zurkon, and Zurkon Jr. were synthenoids who fought together. After planet Scarstu was destroyed, Zurkie turned over a new leaf and built Zurkie's at the Scarstu Debris Field.[a] Ms. Zurkon was inspired greatly by Zurkie's transformation. She also built a side business selling and upgrading weapons,[1] hoping to pay for Zurkon Jr.'s education.[2] Zurkon Jr. narrated descriptions of weapons in Ms. Zurkon's business.
Ms. Zurkon at some point joined the Resistance, providing narration for their spybots.
Rift Apart[]
Ratchet meets Ms. Zurkon at the Nefarious City Bazaar.
In "Find Clank", Ratchet first encountered Ms. Zurkon at Nefarious City, Corson V after the Dimensionator exploded. Recognizing Ratchet as a lombax, she believed him to be a member of the Resistance and ushered him toward her. Ms. Zurkon mistook Ratchet's ignorance as to the Resistance and Rivet's dimension for him practicing espionage better than her, as she directed Ratchet to Club Nefarious to find Phantom; eventually, Ratchet played along and complimented her as "secret agent Zurkon", exciting her.[3] Ms. Zurkon added Ratchet's bolt funds to a shared account with Rivet, confusing her when she used Ms. Zurkon on Sargasso.[4]

Ms. Zurkon appeared in the alternate Blizar Prime while Rivet and Clank were exploring it.[b] During "Forge the Dimensionator", when Ratchet and Kit found Ms. Zurkon in the bioharvesting division in Kedaro Station, Cordelion, Ratchet was surprised at her presence, leading Ms. Zurkon to retort that she was there to fund Zurkon Jr.'s dream of studying existential economics at Bogon University.[2]

In the end credits Ms. Zurkon, Zurkie, and Zurkon Jr. are seen together at their Battleplex, amongst the wreckage of a large pile of destroyed Nefarious troopers. All three of them are seen brandishing their arm-mounted blasters implying they destroyed the troopers together to protect their family business. Ms. Zurkon is also seen with Phantom chasing F-44 out of the Emperor's office.
Characteristics[]
Ms. Zurkon is almost identical in physical appearance to Mrs. Zurkon from Ratchet's dimension. Their main difference is in personality.

Ms. Zurkon is excitable, warm, and welcoming. She speaks with a thick southern belle accent and speech inflections, making her distinct from her alternate counterpart who uses a stilted robotic voice. She is upbeat and excited in her role in the Resistance, but her openness to Ratchet suggests this is to her detriment as she is too trusting of people she thinks are Resistance members.[3] Ms. Zurkon occasionally refers to herself in the third person when speaking,[6] but not to the same extent as her counterpart.

Ms. Zurkon has a loving relationship with Zurkie, though her using the Ms. honorific makes her marital status with him ambiguous.[c] She admired his transformation to becoming non-violent.[1] However, in contrast to him, Ms. Zurkon continues to encourage violence enthusiastically when coming from her Resistance member customers, but does not seem to engage in it herself.[7]

This could either suggest Ms. Zurkon traveled to that dimension the same way Rivet and Clank did, or that an alternate Ms. Zurkon is found in that dimension.
