Mrs. Zurkon is a synthenoid appearing as a weapon upgrade in Into the Nexus, a boss in Ratchet & Clank (2016 game), and a vendor in Rift Apart. Manufactured by GrummelNet, Mrs. Zurkon is a line of robots with a distinct personality, related to her husband Mr. Zurkon and son Zurkon Jr.
As a weapon, Mrs. Zurkon appears in the "Zurkon Family" upgrade for the Mr. Zurkon weapon in Into the Nexus. When Zurkon Family is deployed, she appears alongside Zurkon Jr. and Mr. Zurkon with identical behavior, firing lasers at enemies, and benefitting from raritanium and Omega upgrades to Zurkon Family.
Mrs. Zurkon appears as a boss in the 2016 Ratchet & Clank, and did not appear in the original Ratchet & Clank. In this form, she is a giant synthenoid that releases several evil Zurkons to fight alongside her. She does not appear in the Ratchet & Clank (movie) that the game is based on.
By Rift Apart, Mrs. Zurkon appears as a vendor in Ratchet's dimension. However, an alternate counterpart in Rivet's dimension named Ms. Zurkon is the vendor for most of the game.
History[]
Ratchet & Clank (2016 game)[]
Mrs. Zurkon was fought in the mission "Investigate the factory". She was sent by Chairman Drek along with the Zurkons to defend the factory when the Rangers attacked. Before Ratchet, Clank, and Cora Veralux were able to hack the security terminal to learn about Drek's plan, Mrs. Zurkon arrived to stop them. Brax Lectrus appeared at the last minute, but was blasted by Mrs. Zurkon's cannon, knocking him out of the fight. Cora suggested Ratchet and Clank fight her, and the two eventually destroyed her, allowing them to hack the terminal.[1]

Mrs. Zurkon is the level 3 upgrade of Mr. Zurkon.
Rift Apart[]
By Rift Apart, Mrs. Zurkon became a vendor that Ratchet used on Megalopolis, Corson V. He used Mrs. Zurkon both at the start of the game and when returning to his dimension at the end of the game.

Appearance[]
Mrs. Zurkon is a bigger robot than Mr. Zurkon, with a golden pearl necklace, a large torso (that Mr. Zurkon lacks), thrusters in place of feet, and three lasers on her left arm.
Mrs. Zurkon varies in size throughout her appearances: she appears just larger than Mr. Zurkon as a weapon in Into the Nexus, has a gigantic form in the Ratchet & Clank 2016 game as a boss, and appears just larger than Ratchet as a vendor in Rift Apart.
Personality[]
Mrs. Zurkon shares a similar personality to Mr. Zurkon in sadism, cruelty, and referring to herself in the third person. However, many of her one-liners are jokes about motherhood: she says she is "going shopping, and death is on sale", says she must kill her opponent quickly because she has pilates at 4:00, and that she "does not cut coupons, she cuts enemies". Mrs. Zurkon is protective of her son and takes pride in his violent nature.[2]
Notably, in Rift Apart, Mrs. Zurkon speaks with a dry, monotone, and deliberately robotic cadence, reflecting her role as a polite but emotionally flat vendor unit. This contrasts sharply with Ms. Zurkon—her alternate-universe counterpart—whose energetic Southern American accent, warm enthusiasm, and folksy charm give her a far more expressive and personable presence.[3]

The Zurkon Family.
When Mr. Zurkon is leveled up to level 3, the weapon is renamed "Zurkon Family", and Mrs. Zurkon joins. Mrs. Zurkon does not function drastically differently from Mr. Zurkon or Zurkon Jr. but does amplify firepower of the weapon. In challenge mode, Zurkon Family can be upgraded to Omega Zurkon Family.
Ratchet & Clank[]
The boss version.
Mrs. Zurkon functions as an aerial boss encounter in which she remains positioned on the upper level and employs homing projectile attacks alongside periodic summons of smaller Zurkons. Upon taking sustained damage, she generates a honeycomb-like defensive barrier composed of miniature Zurkons, which obstructs incoming fire and releases continuous projectiles until destroyed. She additionally emits a short-range repulsion burst when approached, preventing direct engagement. The encounter emphasizes sustained ranged offense, evasion of her tracking shots, and management of summoned units, with brief openings for damage between shield activations.
Rift Apart[]
Mrs. Zurkon appears in Corson V in Ratchet's dimension as the vendor. She is completely synced with Ms. Zurkon, and all weapons and upgrades purchased through her in Rivet's dimension completely carry over to Mrs. Zurkon.
