The 2016 re-imagined game is primarily an unreliable retelling of events by Qwark.
The re-imagined game primarily describes Captain Qwark's account of events. As Qwark is an unreliable narrator, and contradictory events are in-universe fiction (though those which correspond still apply). Please see Project:Bulletin board/Canon for the wiki's coverage of canon.

Mr. Micron is a minor character in the Ratchet & Clank movie, with a mention in the 2016 game. He is an old, frail, tharpod citizen of planet Veldin, who took his ship to Grimroth Razz's garage to have the ejector seat fixed. Ratchet was tasked to fix the ship, though he instead installed new unwanted attachments to the ship.

When Mr. Micron returned to pick up his ship, Ratchet presented it to him, and gave him a test drive to present the new attachments that Mr. Micron had never asked for. Mr. Micron appeared dismayed as Ratchet presented new Mag Boosters, causing all the garage's metal objects to follow the ship as it soared through the Kyzil Plateau at lightning fast speeds. When the ship finally stopped seconds before hitting a rock wall, the ejector seat sent him flying across the Plateau, and though he survived, he landed in a pile of poison ivy.

Ratchet later repaired Mr. Micron's ship, and used it to leave the planet with Clank, and the Mag Boosters eventually destroyed a warship on Kerwan.

Behind the scenes[]

Mr. Micron's appearance is very similar to that of tharpod Dr. Frumpus Croid from Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One. His personality is otherwise entirely different.

The pre-production designs for Mr. Micron and many characters in the 2016 game and movie were created by Go For Launch Productions.
