Meridian City on planet Igliak is the Capital of the Polaris Galaxy.
The GrummelNet HQ was located in Meridian City.[1]
It was here that Slim Cognito got arrested for committing a crime at a rock concert. The city also contains a large population of Ebarian Monks who came to purchase inner peace from GrummelNet.
Architecture and landscape
Meridian City is the most populated city in Polaris, just like Metropolis in the Solana Galaxy and Megapolis in the Bogon Galaxy. Meridian City was full of towering skyscrapers (like it's counterparts), with the color theme for the city being white and green, which most buildings and interiors had. The trees in Meridian City have glass orbs around their limbs. The reason for this is unknown.

The Presidential Compound of Meridian City was where the Galactic President of the Polaris Galaxy ran the galaxy. Qwark is interviewed by Kip Darling in the compound about rumors of Nefarious not dying in the destruction of the Nefarious Space Station.

Emperor Tachyon had sought after a way to conquer the city for several years, but the planet's defenses were too strong for Tachyon's forces to penetrate. This all changed when Tachyon finally freed the Cragmites. Tachyon attacked the city with his army of Cragmites, and held Qwark prisoner, who then sent distress calls to Ratchet and Clank. They rescued him and the rest of the city.
Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus
In order to rescue Vendra Prog and banish the Nethers back to their dimension, Ratchet and Clank planned to steal the Dimensionator from the Intergalactic Museum of History so Neftin Prog could fix it. After realizing that there was another Dimensionator, Mr. Eye led an assault on Meridian City in order to destroy it. While Ratchet fought Mr. Eye, Clank ventured into the Netherverse to rescue Vendra. After Vendra was freed, she helped Ratchet, Clank, and Neftin banish Mr. Eye and the Nethers back to their dimension.

- Meridian City has been invaded two times in the series. Once by Emperor Tachyon and once by Mr. Eye.
