Meet Sigmund at Mnemonic Station Iota is a mission in A Crack in Time, taking place in Sector Four of the Great Clock. Clank and Sigmund had repaired most of the damage dealt to the Clock, but still had to test Mnemonic Station Iota.
Walkthrough[]
As before, it is possible to return to previous sections of the Great Clock for gold bolts. To continue the main story with this mission, follow Sigmund, using the Chronoscepter's melee to deflect turret attacks and flip them over. Flipped turrets remain inactive indefinitely, allowing you to ride them to the top of the spinning platforms. Head through the door at the end to enter Chronos Terminal 1.
This puzzle introduces four Time Pads, and is completed using the following instructions:
- Use one recording to stand on the nearby button, wait a few seconds, step on the second button, and end the recording.
- Use a second recording to stand on the elevator platform raised by the first, jump to the nearby platform, wait, then stand on the button, wait again, and step onto the button inside the glass cylinder opened by the first recording.
- Use a third recording to move onto the second elevator platform on the right (raised by the second recording). Jump to the nearby platform, wait, then step on the button, wait, and step onto the second button nearby.
- With the fourth recording, step onto the third elevator platform (raised by the third recording) and onto the last button.
Once all recordings are in place, re-record the first one and repeat its initial two button presses in a timely manner to avoid disrupting the rest. Quickly follow the fourth recording, using the same platform it does to reach the door when the other three recordings have stopped on their respective buttons.
Exit the chamber and use the Meteor Pad to reach another platform where you must fight a swarm of teratropes and Breegus wasps. Enter the building behind them to reach Mnemonic Station Iota and start the brief mission "Test Mnemonic Station Iota". Per Sigmund's instructions, hit the station with your Chronoscepter and then enter it, which only starts a cutscene.
After the cutscene, you will automatically continue with the next mission "Proceed to the Orvus Chamber".
