The Jet Boots are an item used by Clank in Secret Agent Clank. They are powerful rockets of the Cougar Jet Signature Series[1] that allow Clank to burst upwards a short distance and glide in the air, similarly to the Heli-Pack and Thruster-Pack of previous titles.
The Jet Boots were a standard consumer product for robots. They were used in Roboball tournaments, but were banned from 0x4d47 onwards due to the unfair performance enhancement they provided.[1] Clank used a pair throughout Secret Agent Clank, first picking it up during "Not The Guided Tour". Klunk used his own pair, though his produced red flames. With Download Hot Foot 2.1 Beta, the Jet Boots hit was augmented by replacing the Jet Boot engine with the thrusters from a prize-winning skyboard jet.[2]
