Ratchet & Clank Wiki

Henchbots are enemies in Secret Agent Clank. They are small, somewhat humanoid robots from Rionosis employed by numerous different criminals. Among their employers were Number Woo, the Kingpin, and those competing in Le Paradis Des Tricheurs Casino's High Stakes Room. They first appeared in Asyanica during "Free Agent Clank!", as well.

Small henchbots appeared in Le Paradis Des Tricheurs Casino's high stakes room where they helped players to cheat during "High Risk vs. High Stakes". The mk. II gadgebots had to stop them from harming Clank and helping the other players.

Characteristics[]

Those accompanying Number Woo wore bowl hats, whereas those seen in Asyanica were wearing eyepatches. In the PlayStation 2 port they do not wear eyepatches at all. Other henchbots are encountered wearing various clothing items. Some wear Magna-Resonance eyepatches. Trenchcoats worn by henchbots come with a multitude of pockets for flexibility in their deeds.

They also tend to wear wing-tip shoes, as their manufacturers were building them on a shoestring budget. Bowler hats are a fashion choice that every henchbot is said to dream of, as it makes them feel taller. Glasses worn by henchbots help them ensure that they do not feel out of place in their environments. [2]

Henchbots are small enemies that attack only with bites, and are fought as Clank or as gadgebot mk.IIs. As Clank, the Tie-A-Rang or simple melee attacks are sufficient; as the gadgebots, attacking with all gadgebots at once is ideal.

Red, dynamite-wielding henchbots appear as enemies at the mountainside ascent on Rionosis. According to a unused Holo-Monocle description these are called "Hench-a-booms".[a]
