Talk to Mort about Trudi and Help Trudi are missions in Rift Apart taking place in Outpost L51, Sargasso. Sometime after taking Clank to her hideout, Rivet spoke to Mort about a flying beast named Trudi, to learn she was hungry for zurpstones. After finding them, Rivet eventuallly was able to mount Trudi and obtain enough in exchange for a spybot.

Walkthrough

Collect Zurpstones for Trudi

After talking to Mort, one of the morts near the gelatonium factory, zurpstones, purple crystals found on fungi, must be obtained throughout the outpost. Zurpstones are not immediately located on the map.

The first can be otained by Rift Tethering to a ledge near the factory and smashing the purple stones, then gliding down to an island below and grabbing more. After this, hit the speetle nest and ride the speetle forward to a path where many more can be obtained. The path eventually circles back to a ramp that leads onto the factory, collecting the stones.

Collect Zurpstones to exchange for Ranger Boots

After obtaining fifteen for Trudi, more can be found around Sargasso, marked on the map. 30 are needed for the Ranger tactical pants boots, and can mostly be acquired on nearby islands.

Collect Zurpstones to exchange for a Spybot

After 30 are obtained, Mort offers to exchange all the remaining zurpstones for a spybot. This time, Trudi can be mounted, and flying her makes obtaining zurpstones significantly easier. There are 60 zurpstones in total, meaning 30 remain (though a few are initially out of reach).

Trudi is capable of traveling in between several Trudi perches marked on the map, where she can be mounted and dismounted. Her main purpose is to make closing the gap between distances much quicker, and she is sometimes easier to use than speetles. Trudi can also be used to find some gold bolts.

After acquiring 45 zurpstones, Trudi will gain a fireball ability, meaning Trudi can then grab all remaining zurpstones. Once all are obtained, return to Mort to obtain the spybot.
