Head to the Meero Orphanage is a mission in Into the Nexus, taking place in the Meero Orphanage on planet Yerek. Following Pollyx's tip, Ratchet and Clank proceed to the Prog twins' childhood home to find Vendra Prog, where they discover audio logs detailing her past.
Walkthrough[]
Head to the Meero Orphanage[]
Starting from the bolt crank activated at the end of "Find a path to the Meero Orphanage", quickly swing across the gap before the timer ends. Glide down to the next plateau to find an audio journal, which will play in the background after being obtained. Continue with the Grav Tether and Swingshot until reaching a GrummelNet Industries vendor. Purchase the Nightmare Box, followed by either its Phantom Shot mystery upgrade (allowing it to deal damage), or the Fusion Grenade's if not acquired yet.
Continue upwards to the orphanage to encounter a boss.
Voltanoid bossfight[]
The Voltanoid is a large hovering robot that alternates between using an energy shield and sweeping an energy beam attack across the floor twice. It can also emit a shockwave to deter close-range combat. The shield blocks direct attacks but lowers when the beam is being used. Ratchet can retaliate when the shield is down, timing jumps to avoid the beam.
After its destruction, the Grav Tether can be used to reach the newly-revealed platforms; use it again on the fourth platform to enter the orphanage, starting "Find Vendra and Neftin".
Find Vendra and Neftin[]
Pick up more audio journals while exploring the orphanage and descending into the basement. One raritanium crystal is tucked in a corner between some crates and a bed, and another is under the staircase, accessible through a hole in a wall behind a stack of larger metal crates.
Eventually, entering a dead end causes the floor to collapse, leaving Ratchet in a large crawlspace underneath the building. Defeat the local serathoids and their spawning pods while exploring. A vendor is also located here, near a hidden nether rift that can be found with the Rift Cracker. Gravity must be shifted a few times to move a platform blocking the path. This mechanic is also used while being chased by the nether. Continuing after breaking the wall triggers a cutscene, followed by the mission "Escape the Nethers".
Escape the Nethers[]
Escaping the caves is a linear path impeded by netherbeast enemies. These hulking foes attack from a distance and teleport away after being hit. Take them out while making your way to the exit, where Captain Qwark provides a rescue.
After the cutscene, the Aphelion can be used to leave Yerek, starting either "Fly to Planet Silox" or "Enter Destructapalooza tournament on Planet Kragg", if "Investigate the Thugs-4-Less outpost" was also completed. In either case, the GrummelNet Jetpack gadget found on Kragg is required to continue on Silox.
