The Grav Tether is a gadget in Into the Nexus used by Ratchet. It is fired between two grav targets to create a purple grav-stream between them, in which the user can float between the beams in a specific direction. This allows Ratchet to reach otherwise inaccessible areas.
History[]
While Pollyx was held on Yerek by Neftin Prog and the Thugs-4-Less, he designed the Grav Tether to navigate the planet more easily. In "Explore the Meero Ruins", when Ratchet and Clank found the lab assistant attempting to escape the Thugs-4-Less, after Ratchet and Clank freed them, the lab assistant gave them a Grav Tether and taught them how to use it.[1]

. Firing it at two opposing grav targets creates a grav-stream. Two grav-streams can potentially cross over, allowing Ratchet to switch to a new grav-stream and access a new path. To exit the grav-stream, the player must press
