These are challenges available to the contestants of DreadZone in the Ghost Station in Deadlocked. The station and its challenges come directly after the Liberator Tournament, and did not possess any Dread Challenges, nor any new equipment for sale at the DreadZone vendor.

Challenges[]

The Grinding Chase[]

The Ghost Station primarily features DZ Ghost Striker, Ghost Executioner, and dropships. They function identically to the normal variants, so the standard tactics apply. The goal is to capture each node's bolt crank on each platform, which causes a grind rail to appear from which you can go to the next. Take care to deploy defensive measures (either the Holoshield Launcher or Mini Turret Launcher) against the Strikers, Executioners, and dropships that appear as you will not have enough space to properly maneuver. The rails themselves are also watched by Strikers using sniper rifles, so you need to watch those as well, while simultaneously watching the rail to jump over the blocking rings in time.

Running the Gauntlet[]

In the second challenge you have to capture all control nodes to lower the forcefield. The first four are in separate chambers spread throughout the inner side on the large structure you start in. Each node is guarded by a Ghost Executioner and several Ghost Strikers, both of which also appear alongside several dropships and Blade Balls as you pass through the outer walkway of the structure. Take your time or rely on the turrets (the Ghost Strikers will make use of them as well) until the entire area is cleared, after which you can use the Swingshot targets to head to the second building nearby.

You will be constantly attacked by ghost zombies in this area, up until you capture the fifth node. Four dropships will then show up, although only if the previous one is destroyed. Each only contains several Ghost Strikers however. When done head back using the Swingshot and approach the challenge finish, which is guarded by a pair of Ghost Executioners.

Prison Break[]

The third challenge is a linear ordeal; head into the next room, destroy the Ghost Executioners, have your combat bots hack the orbs and deal with the Blade Ball spawns that show up after. The next room contains a small ambush of several ghost zombies, the only ones in this challenge. Continue making your way through the linear corridors, destroying the only opposition of Ghost Strikers and Executioners along the way. Eventually you reach another apparent dead end, although a Grav-O-Tronic surface will lead you to the room with your objectives; the computers. Destroy the large screens on the wall to finish the challenge.

Escape[]

The final Ghost Station challenge, "Escape", is a simple challenge; you need to destroy all the 'power nodules' (the big green-tinted crates) hanging around the station, as well as all of the 70 millimeter Stalker Turrets. They are supported by Ghost Strikers, as well as swarms of Ghost Cycloids that spawn here and there. None of these should pose a threat to your hovership, and even if you do get hurt you can just retreat to a vehicle pad. Note that the final power nodules are likely hidden near the top of the station itself, the map marks the position of all targets in case you need it.

Completion of "Escape" will unlock the final challenges at the DreadZone Station itself, which also marks the final levels of the game.
