Battery bots' are small robots that act as battery, supplying power to machinery when plugged into a socket. [1] They appeared in A Crack in Time and Into the Nexus.

Battery bots have legs and use them to escape from having to supply power to machinery, and flee from anyone who tries to put them back in their sockets. According to vullards, they are unreliable due to their rebellious nature and often went on strike.

In A Crack in Time they could speak, and used their voice to complain and insult anyone who tried to put them back in their socket, while in Into the Nexus they didn't speak and instead made high-pitched beeping noises.

Ratchet would grab these robots with his wrench and threw them into electrical sockets to activate certain machinery, such as doors.

In Into the Nexus battery bots are found on the Nebulox SevenSilox, and Thram - with them also used being used to find vault key on planet Thram.

Behind the scenes[]

Battery Bots bore resemblance to the CodeBot located on Drek's fleet in the first game. They operated exactly the same and even performed the same function, albeit the Battery Bots required a bit more player interaction than the CodeBot.

Battery bots appear on billboards in Aleero City in the 2016 re-imagined game.
