Escape Lord Vorselon's Ship! and Defend General Azimuth are missions in A Crack in Time, taking place in Vorselon's warship in the Korthos Sector. Ratchet freed Alister Azimuth, and the two now had to escape Vorselon's ship together.

Completing the missions will unlock the bronze trophy Leave no Lombax Behind.

Walkthrough[]

For this mission you will have to traverse your steps in reverse. Go with Azimuth down the corridor, through a swarm of Microdrones, and into the Central Hub room where you fought Vorselon. Four Protoguards will attempt to block your path here. Take the elevator down after defeating them to encounter another very large swarm of Microdrones, followed by a pair of Splitterbots and Arc Strikers. Take the next elevator up and follow Azimuth across the gaps with the Swingshot, while you conveniently do not encounter any enemies.

Upon entering the hangar, whose doors are shut, you automatically start the mission "Defend General Azimuth". Alister will hack the terminal to open the hangar bay doors, while you have to use the fusion turret to destroy the incoming waves of Troopers. The first wave consists of one Protomantis and four Protoguards from the room on the right, followed by two Protomantises and four more Protoguards from the left.

Azimuth will manage to open the doors after, allowing four dropships to enter one by one, along with four final Protomantises. While the fusion turret can easily overwhelm any target with direct fire, make sure to use its homing missiles as soon as you start to get overwhelmed (without taking the time to needlessly target each individual enemy).

It is possible to defeat the enemy waves without the turret, but it requires relying a large amount on the Groovitron Glove and CryoMine Glove to keep targets disabled while you pick them off. Doing so is only beneficial for leveling up weapons, and the turret will be the better method for most players.

In either case, leaving with the Aphelion will trigger the completion of both "Defend General Azimuth", "Escape Lord Vorselon's Ship!", and "Rescue General Azimuth". Upon returning to open space you can proceed and jump to the Bernilius Sector for the next mission.
