Return to Fastoon and Destroy the Magna-Cannons are missions in Tools of Destruction, taking place in the lombax ruins on Fastoon. After rescuing Qwark, Clank told Ratchet that they should go to Fastoon, after a hint he received from the Zoni. On Fastoon they ran into heavy resistance, and were forced to destroy several Magna-Cannons to allow Talwyn Apogee to land with her ship.

"Return to Fastoon" is completed upon visiting the planet, after which the next mission "Destroy the Magna-Cannons" starts immediately with a HALO jump. Upon landing you will be thrust into battle alongside Cronk and Zephyr, facing off against drophyd troopers and sentries protecting a Magna-Cannon. Three gunships will act as air support on the right, above the cliffs, which should be taken out first. The troopers and sentries are likely occupied with Cronk and Zephyr, making them a good target for the Razor Claws.
Follow the warbots to the raritanium mine entrance and, after eliminating the troopers nearby, climb the tower to use the zip line to a second Magna-Cannon, alongside several raritanium chests, guarded by a cragmite warrior. Return to Cronk and Zephyr and help them attack a third Magna-Cannon guarded by a few troopers and a cragmite hunter. Deal with the cragpoles next to the grav-ramp at the same time, as the nearby ammo crates from the ammo pads are a convenient and free resource. During all this Cronk and Zephyr will be occupied with several enemies atop the nearby ridge.
Past the third Magna-Cannon is a versa-target, guarded by two gunships, that can be used to reach a separate area with shielded sentries, hunters, and a single warrior guarding a fourth Magna-Cannon. The fifth and final Magna-Cannon is at the end of the grav-ramp path, which is guarded by another warrior and a group of shielded sentries.
Note that there is no required order in which to destroy all of the Magna-Cannons, and that it is recommended to take the southern side path around the landing pad to find several more raritanium chests and gain access to the vendor to buy more upgrades. After destroying the fifth Magna-Cannon, return to the central area to commence the next mission "Cover Talwyn".
