This page includes the controls for Deadlocked. Originally released on the PlayStation 2, the game was later ported to the PlayStation 3 for the HD re-release.
Ratchet[]
Ratchet is the main character, who you control for the entire game, be it on foot, or in a vehicle.
Lock-strafe mode[]
The default control set-up, lock-strafe permanently puts Ratchet in a strafing mode, with an aimable reticle for his ranged weapons. Upon equipping the OmniWrench or Scorpion Flail you automatically change to use the third person control mode.

First-person mode[]
First-person mode controls identically to lock-strafe mode, except the player is permanently in a first-person view.

The original control setup, more similar to the controls of Up Your Arsenal.

The player can control the Landstalker in challenges on Catacrom Four, Sarathos, Shaar, Orxon, and Stygia.
