Confuzzler Gas is a device in Tools of Destruction and manufactured by GrummelNet Industries. It infects enemies with a hallucinogen, derived from the seeds of the Cobalian werm plant,[1] weaponized in the form of a gas, that causes enemies caught in its gas cloud to attack each other and nearby allies, rather than Ratchet. The device is first available in Stratus City, Kortog, from the device vendor. Each Confuzzler Gas pod costs 1,500 bolts.
Confuzzler Gas will confuse enemies caught in its gas, which has a small area of effect but lingers for eight seconds, but can be used against any enemy except bosses. It will kill enemies when the effect runs out after ten seconds, including even obsidian enforcers and cragmite warriors. The weapon can be useful in difficult situations, but its low ammo is a significant drawback, and the Groovitron may be a better choice as it is a cheaper device affecting a larger area.
The effects of the Confuzzler Gas are similar to those of the Infector from Up Your Arsenal.
