Complete VR Gadget Training is a mission in Up Your Arsenal, taking place on the Starship Phoenix. After defeating the Momma Tyhrranoid, Ratchet and Clank returned to the Phoenix, where Helga von Streissenburgen had prepared an obstacle course for the use of the Hypershot and Hacker.
Walkthrough[]
After you meet with Helga, enter the VR deck and choose the challenge "Complete VR Gadget Training" to begin. You will immediately enter the gadget training with the Hypershot equipped. This gadget allows you to activate certain green objects by pressing 
, or swing across gaps by holding next to a versa-target, similar to the Dynamo and Swingshot from previous titles.
Use to activate the first Hypershot pad, then jump across and proceed forward to the sharp left turn. Press to latch onto the versa-target in front of you, and when moving forward, hold to swing across to the gap. Here, you will find the first Hacker puzzle; press 
to enter it when close.
The Hacker puzzles require you to win by collecting the requisite number of green code snippets, by using 
to collect them. If one of the red defense programs reaches the top, it will terminate the mission. Use or 
to fire the cannon destroying the red defense programs (when they are not protected by a blue shield), and collect all green code snippets as they appear to win.
With the Hacker complete, use the wall jump that becomes available to get up to the higher ledge, and in the next area, try to latch onto the versa-target after the three green lasers stop moving to proceed forward. Next, proceed forward through the next group of versa-targets, and you will encounter another Hacker puzzle. Complete it and wall jump upwards, where you will find three closed floating platforms. Jump over to them and press to activate each one and cross. The next portion requires you to latch onto a series of versa-targets to cross.
From here on out, the rest of the mission is mostly the same. Before reaching the end, the Hacker is required to open the last gate, where you will obtain a titanium bolt and get to keep both the Hacker and the Hypershot. Both of these gadgets are required for both missions on Daxx, "Explore the Docks" and "Infiltrate the Weapons Facility", so you can do them now. Alternatively, this mission can be replayed for the skill point "Beat Helga's best time".
