The Cloaker is a weapon in All 4 One. It is a cloaking device manufactured by GrummelNet Industries and serves as the special weapon of Dr. Nefarious, being usable only by him. The weapon renders Dr. Nefarious invisible to enemies for a duration, during which he can perform melee attacks.
The Cloaker bends electromagnetic radiation around its operator, making them completely invisible. It is designed for "covert assassinations and slumber party shenanigans".[1]
Gameplay[]
The Cloaker first becomes available for purchase at the Village Entrance in the Aldaros Plains for 5,000 bolts. A single upgrade is unlocked at the Rehabitation Center in N.E.S.T., with the remaining upgrades available at the Kaleero Trail in Terawatt Forest. It does not upgrade with use, but its ammo capacity can be upgraded for 10,000 bolts and its power for 10,000 bolts. After purchasing both upgrades, an elite upgrade becomes available for 30,000 bolts, granting Nefarious the "Cloak & Dagger" technique.
When activated, Nefarious becomes invisible to enemies, preventing them from targeting him. Initially, the Cloaker grants invisibility for 10 seconds, increasing to 20 seconds with the power upgrade. While cloaked, performing a melee attack causes Nefarious to execute a single, powerful strike with his Annihilator Blades. However, attacking, taking damage, or switching weapons immediately deactivates the Cloaker, making Nefarious visible again.
With the elite upgrade, Nefarious no longer needs to be near an enemy to strike. The Cloak & Dagger technique, activated by holding the melee button, allows him to lock onto a target from a distance, leap high into the air, and attack from above. This powerful strike enables him to hit flying enemies and attack from afar.
Ultimately, the Cloaker is a niche weapon, primarily useful against Sentry Minions but lacking effectiveness against most other enemies, where standard weapons provide better damage output. However, it does grant temporary invisibility, which can be useful for escaping or avoiding incoming attacks.
