Cactus pirates[1], also known as cactus beasts[2], are enemies in Secret Agent Clank. They are ravenous cactus beasts that Captain Qwark claimed to have defeated on Hydrano during "Qwarkography, Ch. 5". Three types of cactus pirates are encountered: those wearing white shirts armed with swords, those wearing red shirts wielding guns, and finally, purple-shirted cactus pirates wielding a much more powerful gun that dealt a lot of damage.
The cactus pirates attempted to damage and destroy the dam to obtain the water. If they entered the water that came from holes in the dam, they would grow much larger and more dangerous. Cactus pirates are sturdy enough to withstand at least a few of Qwark's attacks, but can easily be knocked back and off the surrounding cliff's edge.
