Bypass the Defense System is a mission in A Crack in Time, taking place in Axiom City's Neurox Plaza on planet Terachnos. Ratchet and Alister Azimuth were unable to enter Pollyx Industries themselves, but Alister knew a terachnoid on the inside, Jarvis, that could help them enter the building.
Walkthrough[]
Alister will fight alongside you, and cannot be harmed during battle. Focus on the reinforcements coming from the incoming dropships, including Protoguards, Splitterbots, Cyclobombers, as well as a wave of Microdrones, and finishing with a Protomantis backed up by a pair of Cyclobombers.
After these enemies, use the hoverboots to follow Alister into another area of the Plaza, where you will have to contend with another Protomantis, followed by more waves of the same troopers, now including Arc Strikers. Alister will leave halfway through, although the only threatening enemies are the pair of Protomantises at the end.
After all enemies are downed, approach Jarvis' hologram and step on each indicated power switch. Although the radar lacks a proper minimap, it does tell you in which direction each switch is. Each circular area of the Plaza is only reachable through the use of accelerator ramps with your hoverboots. If you fail to hit a switch within the time allotted, you have to restart.
Eventually, you will hit the final switch, which is next to a grav-ramp that leads to the ramp above the plaza. Meet Alister there, then follow to continue with "Infiltrate Pollyx Industries".
