Bury blossoms[1][2] are enemies in Size Matters, with a minor appearance in Secret Agent Clank. Native to Ryllus, they are large, carnivorous flowers that spit globs of a hazardous substance at long range, or try and bite if their prey is close enough. Ratchet and Clank fought them during "Investigate the artifact" while fighting through the Vetega Jungle. Professor Sprout also managed to use the Sprout-O-Matic to grow a bury blossom that then proceeded to try and eat Ratchet, and after spitting him out, appeared to turn on Sprout instead. Later, a bury blossom was seen in Ivana Lottabolts' palace on Glaciara.

Bury blossoms are durable and have powerful attacks, though their attacks are slow and telegraphed. They are best defeated at range using the Lacerator while strafing to avoid their attacks. They prey on the local Pygmy tribsemen, who in turn also fight them if lured nearby. Getting bury blossoms to eat five tribesmen unlocks the skill point "Bury the Pygmies".
