Build the Dimensionator is a mission in Rift Apart, taking place at Zurkie's, Scarstu Debris Field. After Ratchet forged the Dimensionator and Rivet obtained the phase quartz, they both met at Zurkie's so Clank could build it.

At Mrs. Zurkon, the Warmonger is available. This is a powerful ranged weapon that is strong against large enemies and groups of medium enemies. While it is a very worthwhile purchase, the Buzz Blades are slightly more affordable and have more versatility, meaning they may be preferred. In addition, the Silver Cup is unlocked at the battleplex, meaning more bolts can be earned to buy a new weapon shortly.
Head into Zurkie's for a cutsene to commence, after which Dr. Nefarious is fought. Nefarious will sweep in with melee attacks and fire arm-mounted lasers in a sweeping motion. Against the lasers, making use of cover is effective, while Phantom Dash can be used to evade his melee attacks, and the Topiary Sprinkler slows him. Long-ranged weapons such as the Buzz Blades, Negatron Collider, Ricochet, or Lightning Rod are best against him, though at this stage, other weapons are still viable.
When Dr. Nefarious is down to 80% health, Rivet will be warped through a rift where she must follow a grind rail path at Blizar Prime in the intact dimension, before landing in an arena where the battle begins. This time, Dr. Nefarious fires lasers that explode with a burst of energy that must be jumped over, and can throw crates.
After Dr. Nefarious falls to 50% health, Rivet is warped to Sargasso, and a grunthor must be defeated first. To save ammo for weapons that are best against Dr. Nefarious, use ones such as the Glove of Doom or the Enforcer that cannot as easily reach him in the air to defeat it, after which Dr. Nefarious is fought again. This time, he makes use of several missiles that sweep across the ground and must be avoided by running away from the target reticules that appear. Because he fights from such a distance and moves quickly, only long-range weapons are effective.
At 25% health, Dr. Nefarious will return to the arena. He has the same moveset as when the battle begun, but Nefarious Troopers appear to support. Use Mr. Fungi or the Glove of Doom to take care of them while focusing on Dr. Nefarious, as dodging his melee attack is crucial.
Once Dr. Nefarious is defeated, a cutscene commences, concluding the mission. Completing the Silver Cup at the battleplex is helpful to earn bolts in order to buy the expensive weapons available. A new weapon, the Bombardier, is available at Mr. Zurkon, a weapon which throws a hovering device that sends several bombs over enemies. This weapon is powerful against grounded enemies, but less useful against flying ones, meaning that while useful, other weapons with more versatility should be prioritized. The Rivet mission "Stop the Emperor's Invasion" is unlocked on Sargasso, while "Rescue Captain Quantum" is available on Ardolis.
