Battery bots are robots in A Crack in Time and Into the Nexus. They are small, bipedal robots that are used as a power source. Ratchet would on occasions need to pick them up with the OmniWrench and throw them in sockets to power machinery. They are also commonly used to power doors to access gold bolts, Zoni, and other collectibles.

Battery bots are used heavily by the vullards in their operations. During "Help End Code 11-13", in the factory in Molonoth Fields, Lumos, battery bots went on strike, likely due to poor work conditions.[1][2] During "Tow the Junk Hauler Home", battery bots in a vullard junk hauler's ship also went offline.[3] These battery bot's unwillingness to power machinery does not appear exclusive to the vullards, as battery bots often complained when picked up by Ratchet.[4]

Battery Bots bore resemblance to the CodeBot located on Drek's fleet in the first game. They operated exactly the same and even performed the same function, albeit the Battery Bots required a bit more player interaction than the CodeBot.

Battery bots appear on billboards in Aleero City in the 2016 re-imagined game.
