Amoeboid kings[1] are enemies in Secret Agent Clank. They are a colossal version of the large amoeboid, wearing a silver crown encrusted with blue jewels on its tips. Despite their name they have little in common with the king amoeboids who appear in Up Your Arsenal.
Ratchet first encountered an amoeboid king in the showers of the Prison Planet during "Plumbing Troubles" and then went on to encounter more of them in the rest of the showers challenges. He also encountered one during a later challenge called "Amoeboid on a Pole".
Amoeboid kings have the same attack method as the medium and large type amoeboids, spitting smaller amoeboids as projectiles, and biting Ratchet if they get close enough. Upon defeat an amoeboid king would split into four large amoeboids. They are not particularly tough, the bigger issue being the large number of amoeboids that end up being spawned upon their death.
