?????????? is a mission in Size Matters, taking place in the Dreamtime. After being captured by Luna on Kalidon, Ratchet entered a nightmarish state. First, he witnessed a surgeon Captain Qwark and a nurse Skrunch attempt to cut him upon with a chainsaw, followed by a dark depiction of Clank pointing to which door was "safe". After this, Ratchet attempted to escape the sequence.

Walkthrough

For this mission, Ratchet is controlled without Clank, and the view is severely limited. As it begins, head forward across the rocks, and a group of flying hypos will attack through the walls; these can be defeated best with the Scorcher or Concussion Gun. Next, head through the hole created in the wall into the main Dreamtime area. The path leads out onto a few floating rocks and islands that form the path ahead, and a Gadgetron vendor appears. Here, the Suck Cannon can be purchased, which will suck in smaller enemies to fire as ammo against larger ones. The Suck Cannon can be useful in this level, but is not an essential purchase.

As you follow the linear path forward, you will encounter a mimic plant. Use the Sprout-O-Matic to get it to follow Ratchet, defeat the flying hypos that appear, and then wet the available soil. It will form a strange plant with Qwark's head, which once hit, creates a Hypershot target. Use the Hypershot to swing across, and avoid the floating red eye's line of vision, as it can instantly kill Ratchet. Run past it and use the Sprout-O-Matic on two nearby mimic plants to create Hypershot targets, and swing across them onto an image of Qwark's straw hat.

Here, flying hypos will be encountered, as well as the first Doctor Qwark enemy. This medium-sized enemy can throw chainsaws at Ratchet, and is more durable. The Suck Cannon can be used to fire the flying hypos at the Doctor Qwark, though alternatively, the Lacerator and Agents of Doom are effective against it. Continue along the linear path to reach a landing pad for Ratchet's ship; the ship will disappear and be replaced by chainsaws that cut apart the pad. Avoid the chainsaws, defeat the Doctor Qwarks that appear shortly after, and run over to the image of Luna. This will vanish, and the portion of the landing pad will fly over to a Hypershot path and eventually a set of platforms. Hop over them and avoid the eyes, commencing a cutscene.

After the cutscene ends, run forward to an image of Ratchet's garage on Veldin. Breaking the mirror before the flying needle appears through it will cause multiple to appear, so instead, wait for one to appear and defeat it. Continue forward to reach a waterfall where, to its right, wall jumping can be used to climb to the top: jump against the wall, and immediately jump again upon hitting it. At the top, a taxi will lead towards a vision of Clank's apartment from Endako. Using the Lacerators, shoot the Doctor Qwarks that appear on the rival taxis to clear the path towards it. Inside, defeat the needle appearing from the mirror, then proceed through to a floating platform requiring the Gravity Boots. Defeat the flying hypos that appear here, then defeat the enemies, and proceed across the Hypershot targets to land on the large bolt at the end.

Upon reaching the end of the large bolt, a portal will transport Ratchet to another, where flying hypos must be defeated. After this, use the portal that appears to reach the next bolt, and defeat the Doctor Qwarks to open a portal to another. Repeat the process, until Ratchet is taken to a large floating island where a sinister Giant Clank appears.

Giant Clank

Ratchet's weapons are taken away for this boss fight, which relies purely on survival. This Giant Clank will leap into the air, and upon landing, unleash a wave of butterflies that hit Ratchet. Similarly, it will throw projectiles to the ground that must be avoided, and slam on the ground to create a wave of butterflies forward. The goal here is to simply run and keep jumping to avoid all of Giant Clank's attacks. Each of them can be avoided by running far enough, or jumping over them if necessary.

Giant Clank's attacks become faster and more relentless. After some time, Giant Clank will shrink and disappear. Taking no damage from Giant Clank will earn you the skill point "Friends Don't Hurt Friends". The Crystallix body armor can be picked up to end the mission, leading into the next, "Find your equipment".
