Hey, what do you fellow Ratchet & Clank fans think of this theory of mine, that’ll be part of the plot of the next R&C game, set after the events of Rift Apart.
According to this screenshot I took on one of my article pages on the “Ratchet & Clank Fan Fiction” wiki page, part of the plot will be that Ratchet becomes obsessed with the use of the Dimensional Map, (and even with it installed in the Dimensionator,) claiming that the Map itself would be the key to solving all problems, such as his worries to finding the Lombaxes, as well as her markazian girlfriend, Talwyn Apogee's, to find her lost father, Max.
